Ibiza looks like chad city

Ibiza has changed so much in the last 22 years since I first went there. There were no highways between San Antonio (for example) and The old town, just the original main dusty roads. The marina was half the size it is today. The 'disco buses' ran all night and played music with all the windows down and the passengers singing!. When I first went to Ibiza, back in 98', I thought San Antonio 'was' Ibiza!. Fast forward a few years and myself being more 'mentally' grown and 'selective', I decided that I no wanted to stay in the mad confined limited space of San Ant and wanted to experience all the fantastic beaches that the island has and also a more 'grow-up' vib,...leaving behind Cafe Mambo, the monotonous west end strip. My new other half and I based ourselves just outside the old town so we would be more central to all the great beaches (ie Ses Salines etc) and the better restaurants within the centre (ie Mama Pomelos etc) and also the 'then' hidden ones (ie Blue Marlin, Na Xemena etc). Ibiza is a magical place (which I only appreciated 3/4 years after first arriving there and becoming more 'grown' mentally and appreciating a more 'adult' selective vibe) It has two sides to it the San Ant coastline set and the Ibiza Central Set. It definitely has something for everyone, and like me, you can enjoy both during your life's growth and journey.

There is 2 opposite vibes and social groups of Ibiza island... San Antonio the 'Ibiza virgin' crowd of the island, (who never venture outside of San Ant) and then there is Ibiza Town, with a more sophisticated, grown and chilled side, with the better restaurants and bars etc. Originally, I also was one of the San Ant set back in 98!', and thought that San Ant 'was' Ibiza!. Lucky now grown, and familiar with the whole island, I am glad that the majority of the San Ant crowd also think what I thought back in the day,.... and are not aware of the glorious Ibiza Town and it's cool vibe.
