Hello, I'm a new subscriber, I found you from the "Sheriff" Stihl Born @StihlChainsaws. He called you out on this video.
Link to the whole video in the description! Thanks for watching!
Here's to the algorithm! Good channel, hoe you grow it well.
Hear that algorithm! 😁 Thank you my friend!
Nice job. Definitely the way to do that tree. As long as you got command of the tree it's just down to the cutting and you got that 👍
@@5chris520 thanks!👍 I'm glad we did it like this cuz I was dreading climbing it!!🤣💯
Like butter 👌🎯💯
@@bradcreech2376 thanks man, it did go rather smoothly!!👍 A little prayer will get you a long way!!
Excellent info
@@suzearl 👍 Thanks, glad you think so!!! Thanks for watching!!
"I've got a slipper on". Well, at least you have your slippers on. 😄
@@VeteranTreeService im gonna take it as easy as I can!!🤣
We had a large 6ft chunk of Monterey Pine come swinging down on a block with one ground guy on the porti with the line too taut, the other ground guy (not paying attention) bent over picking up debris just as this giant headhunter goes right over him. Everyone is yelling at him to get out of there but he stands up just as the log is swinging back and he's looking around with a "huh?" look, not knowing he's inches away from death. Just as the porti operator lets it down and it lands right behind him. Literally a Moon of Endor moment.
@@ToddW-po4bt Holy smokes that sounds like a close call for sure! I'm glad it went to his advantage. Hope y'all stay safe! Thanks for sharing your story. Discussing our encounters can often be beneficial to help us learn. Hope to see you back!🫡
@@JLMTreeService Oh yes. I've got a million of 'em 😅
@ToddW-po4bt 🤣 that's the way I am... I was going to tell you we have seen similar things here... And even some farther out that that!! Stay safe brother!!

@@Travige57 that's right!!💪😁
Awesome job brother
@@toddjacks8288 thanks man!! It's definitely tight enough! Imma do the whole upload soon! I'm sure you wanna check it out👍
You tree climbers are crazy. I won’t touch em unless I’m on the ground.
@@Taskarnin thanks man! I'll take it as a complement😁 I seen a guy do it a long time ago when I was on the ground and I knew that's what I wanted to do!! Thanks for watching my friend!! Stay safe!
Any of you other tree guys ever have any close calls? Mention it in the comments, let's hear your stories.
Nicely done.
@@5chris520 thanks brother! I'll have that whole removal up sometime soon!
@JLMTreeService awesome. I was hoping so. It looks like a fun one
@@5chris520 yes sir! Fun for sure and tight!!
Good slow motion section. It gave me time to process the multiple things going on. I miss the Midwest. Look at all those yards with no fences, and I know that ground is probably super hard.
@@VeteranTreeService thanks man. It all happens fast, you know how it goes brother!! Gotta love the Midwest, it's what I call home! Totally different ball game where your at. I watch you wreck them big conifers all the time. Different complex for sure!! Thanks for watching and commenting!
As long as you’re educating the customer on the future dangers and possibilities of removing half the tree. Helps cover liability on your end and gives you peace of mind that you’re providing the service the customer still wants with all the knowledge of what could go wrong in the future as a result. As for spiking the tree, I could tell you weren’t recklessly spiking everywhere and trying to keep as shallow of depth as possible. I don’t agree that just because you think the tree is going to fail that’s it’s okay, but I do respect that you didn’t do it with reckless abandon. At the end of the day, you got the job done safely and that’s most important. Excellent work and keep climbing safe.
@@YourOutdoorOasis thank you! bingo! that's exactly what was done here. I was shooting for full removal due to the fact that this other side could experience a failure in the future especially with the large opening for decay at the codom and the client said I'll call you when the rest dies so I imagine we will probably have a part two to this tree! Thanks for your input on the spike situation too I really respect that. Sometimes I even try to put them back into the same places to not over puncture the bark. Would you like to see a pruning video sometime soon? No spikes, I promise 😁🤞
Pretty good climber bro got ya a new subscriber
@@Saymyenameyo thanks, I really appreciate that!👍 We'll see you on the next one, be sure to drop us a comment! 😁
@@JLMTreeService yessir stay safe up there
@Saymyenameyo top priority brother!!
What about you other climbers, do you ever do any harsh cutting or topping on tree's? Let me know in the comments.
@@JLMTreeService yeah I mean sometimes we talk trees hard I don't want to do it but the customer knows exactly what's going to happen and that's what they want done sometimes they want it time and time again every few years it's what the customer wants that's what they're paying for like I said I explained to them everything but it's up to them their tree and they're paying me for a job
Yes if I’m not able to talk the client out of it I will
@@Saymyenameyo same here, sometimes you can't change they're mind. Give them what they're looking for!💪
Good job great video
@@gregsidel3557 thanks Greg!! Glad you enjoyed it, hope to see you back here in the comments brother!!🤙
I don't think you got to explain yourself buddy true professionals know exactly what you're doing I guess maybe you do have to explain yourself to people who don't know what's going on but I would wear spikes too
@@br-dj2ti that's good to know you feel the same way, Im glad you understand where I'm coming from my man!! Tree is toast!👍 Come back and see us buddy I try to upload at least every Saturday, thanks for watching!
Good job. Its definitely a balancing act trying to convince homeowners whats best for the tree. All you can do is explain to them what you should do but its ultimately up them. I deal with it a lot where im at especially when it comes to topping trees.
@@5chris520 thanks, you got that right!! We do some topping in my area as well but we try not to. Especially if it's a good tree, we will aim for pruning. But your right man some customers just want what they want and it's your job to deliver.💪 Thanks for watching brother!!

Great job, guys. Good customer service taking care of somebody's yard. Man, I been thinking about trying the speed cut nano. It's seems good on what I've seen anyway.
@@5chris520 thanks Chris!! I'm sure it's some cutting stuff!! The chain in this video is .043 1/4 chain it's not the .050 gauge like it should be and it cuts a lot faster!!! So I'm sure it'll be good stuff!!

spurs are for guys that are scared to climb the organic way, they rather have a guarantee foot hold created by spurs.
