Kahlua Original Liqueur and Our Homemade Kahlua Taste Test. Kahlua Black Russian Recipe! Come Taste
Pub Travels makes homemade Kahlua Liqueur. Kahlúa is a brand of coffee liqueur owned by the Pernod Ricard company and produced in Veracruz, Mexico. The drink contains rum, sugar, and arabica coffee.
Ingredients in the Original Kahlua Black Russian:
Ice Cubes
1 part Kahlúa
2 parts Absolut Vodka
1 Whole Cherry
Fill a rocks glass with ice. Add the Kahlúa coffee liqueur and Absolut Vodka.
Mix together. Garnish with a cherry and enjoy.
Homemade Kahlua Recipe:
2 cups water
1.5 cups granulated sugar
1.5 tablespoons Instant Coffee
2 cups 80 proof vodka
1.5 tablespoons vanilla extract

    Great video. I got some of the same chilis. I do like the smoky flavor. I’m going to try your fermentation. How did yours turn out?

      @@Rick-uu4iu I have to go back through my videos, I think I have more on this. I was really happy with the flavor and how versatile it can be. I made an agave sauce and a buckwheat sauce using this fermented morita as a base. So delicious!

    thanks mate. Maybe consider removing the seeds and the white stuff inside the chilis first to reduce the heat. Heat is good but well, not good at the same time right? I am surprised as well that fermenting wasnt good, because I heard sriracha and tabasco both ferment their sauce, and they are very tasty right?

      Thank you for your feedback. Yes, I plan on taking the seeds out for my next batch. I also found this batch to be really bitter up front before the heat kicks in. Sriracha and Tobasco use fresh chilies. I'll continue experimenting with dried chilies as well as fresh. It's been interesting.

    You should rename this video because you're not giving us any secrets to ferment dried chili's. Your chili's are not dry And they're already fermented.... The first part of this video should be about the rehydration process, then the brine, then fermentation. Etc

    Great video! I was thinking of doing a fermented arbol, guajillo and ancho for like a chile colorado hot sauce when I came across your video. Perhaps I should not! Thanks for expirementing and sharing your result. Edit: Dried chiles ferment.

    For such a simple recipe, you certainly add a lot of refinement and nuance to it, adding steps and small adjustments that I wouldn't even think of. I also like that this can be thought of as a versitile sauce, rather than just a salad dressing.
