@@work4120Actually i have a Statistics University exam on 1st May(the coming Monday) and suprisingly your channel has almost all my course topics already been uploaded but i didn't find probability sums, if that is possible can you please upload probability sums here? I have some practice sums given by my professor but i am having a hard time to be able to solve them. If i mention those practice sums here, can you please upload a video of them, if that is possible?

Practice sums of probability: 1.(A) The weights of 10-year-old girls are known to be normally distributed with a mean of 70 pounds and a standard deviation of 13 pounds. Find the percentage of 10-year-old girls with weights between 60 and 90 pounds. 1.(B) Find the 60th percentile for the weight of 10-year-old girls given that the weight is normally distributed with a mean 70 pounds and a standard deviation of 13 pounds. ANSWERS: z = (-0.77 and 1.54); probability is 71.76. 2. Scores on a particular test are normally distributed with a standard deviation of 4 and a mean of 30. What is the probability of anyone scoring less than 40. ANSWERS: z = 2.5; p= 99.38. 3. Annual salaries for a large company are approximately normally distributed with a mean of $50,000 and a SD of $20,000. What percentage of company workers may under $40,000? ANSWERS: z = -0.5; p = 30.85%. 4. 1Q scores have a normal distribution with a mean of 100 and a standard deviation of 15. What percent of people have an IQ above 1207. ANSWERS: z = 1.33; p= (9.18%). 5. The amount of time a student taking statistics spends on studying for a test is normally distributed. If the average time spent studying is 12 hours and the standard deviation is 4 hours, what is the probability that a student will spend more than 8 hours studying? ANSWERS: z = 0.8413; p = 84.13% 6. Scores on a history test have average of 80 with standard deviation of 6. What is cut off score that encompasses the middle 75% of the distribution 7. The temperature is recorded at 60 airports in a region. The average temperature is 67 degrees Fahrenheit with standard deviation of 5 degrees. At what given temperature, will there will be a probability of temperature be recorded getting below 15% 8. A group of friends compares what they received while trick or treating. They find that the average number of pieces of candy received is 43, with standard deviation of 2. If a child has more than 32% probability of getting a candy, what is least amount of candy they require. So sorry sir to trouble you. But it will be very very helpful if you upload a video of these.

I think he just explained the equal to or less than using the percentile rank, so that would still be 3.5, I could be wrong tho..

      @@Erica-yu6jw i think 3.0 = Percentile rank 76.78%. (20+1.5)/28*100 i’m not sure.
