Mulching old man gorse back into pasture.
Using my CAT 315 Next Gen and Seppi BMS-F forestry mulcher to turn old man gorse covered paddocks back in to pasture, in the process fixing nitrogen back into the ground, and the bacteria in the finished mulch helping breaking down the shell on gorse seeds so less regrowth.

My new levelling blade which is a first for Northland Steel products in action at Waihi beach trimming a soft rock platform, it works really well, good curve in the blade, good weight in it, thanks to Ross & Bev at Northland Steel Products for a great tool.

Banks Contractors new 2015 Cat 314 ELCR excavator with Cat grade control, JB Attachments latest power tilt PT 180 quick hitch. It has a operating weight of about 17.5 Tonne and as its a Compact Radius machine it can get into those tight spots. More video's will come of it working over time.

@specialks1953 The blade cost me $4000NZ to have made, a new small champion grader would cost $225000NZ, and I already own the excavator. The blade is great for small jobs on driveways and house or building pads, farm tracking and generally where i have big areas to level with the excavator and the wide bucket is a meter smaller than this blade so this makes very easy work of levelling. Thanks for your positive comment.
SuperMrcat what size grader did the blade come off? Awesome idea! Very efficient with the right operator, specially good for trimming batters! NICE!
