Shadow’s my favorite all time character. But he’s such a complex character that the creators admit that he’s the most difficult to write, and that’s why so many people just see him as an “Edgelord” I’m hoping this movie can bring his character back to light and have people really understand his roots. Shadow’s role in the Sonic games has suffered for far too long.
that is true shadow is more of a side character now, he needs a comeback in this movie. 😤
I am writing this to everyone, who mentioned a gun or weapon for Shadow. In case you don't know yet, Sega officially said that Shadow will never again get a weapon, because he already very powerful by himself. And for me personally, gun for Shadow is a humiliation to him. It's like his natural powers are not interesting for you, you more interested in that scrap metal.
His natural powers are cool. We already know that, but him having a weapon makes him different from all the other characters as well, and it’s kinda nostalgic too, but it is what it is him with or without it we still love the character!!

Now we need Sonic 3 to get a PG-13 rating due to Shadow’s backstory and his dark side. - Probably give it a 2hrs & 15-20mins run-time. -If Amy Rose and Silver The Hedgehog both appear in the mid credits scene, have Amy be voiced by either Anna Kendrick or Miranda Cosgrove and have Silver be voiced by Hayden Christensen if they’re interested. - I also hope they do Sonic 4 soon

2:29 - Actually, Silver is not off the table for the movies, because Sonic 06 is one of the games Paramount is allowed to use. So while he isn't in this movie, the possibility exists that he could be in a future movie (if they keep going with these).
I’ve got a theory that if Silver does appear, rather than make portals using gold rings he’ll be using ones that open portals in time that are silver instead of gold. Like his name.
