Fantabulous ❤ hi ggls. Utube. X factor Elon ( this 4 yrs sweet mom pronam denu tobo charone love and regards I am improvising @ hi bonorika love you all more than i cn say love and regards
Can you please suggest a group somewhere that deals with a specific marriage problem and addiction or addiction and marriage, perhaps how to make it through this together as a family or love and support from one person to the other. I really like the coping skills that you have presented in the video! 👍 I'm still not sober. I was abandoned by my husband who I was financially dependent upon when his decision to not include me in his life while facing sobriety and a long program with the court and VA courts. I have been married only three years! This happened very quickly in the relationship. He basically "dumped" me! This in turn left me in despair and homeless without any support system or another human being that I could rely on. Thanks again...... As you can see I am still going through the same things along with my addiction to fentanyl. I have been waiting for my husband to include me in the life journey of sobriety but I have been waiting on a lie. 😢 I believed in him and our union. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for this. Such valuable information.
Glad it was helpful!
😊
great video-so helpful in understanding addiction
Nah, surely it does... A hit of coke and ya brain is wired. Compared that to cake which does nothing. I'm fairly certain my brain knows the difference
Check out Formation of Addiction Part 1 The Brain the whole video, I explain this better, you are right about the reaction to the substance being different. But you are aware that you are using coke chemically and your brain just knows that there was a large amount of dopamine that was released.
Really enjoyed it. You put it a way I could understand it. I’m in my second day after recovery program thank you
Thank you, and I hope that the information works for you to apply to your recovery journey. -Brian
No Help For Me Maybe helpful to a non addict to respect our struggle as addicts
There is allways help, and anyone can change this to to help with the bias and stigma related to addiction.
This was so informative for me! I am in the very early stages of figuring out why I do the things I do and this video, even though it was really short, truly helped!!!
It is hard to understand the reasons and the why we are drawn to continue to do things that dont make sense. This is why we work to understand the impulsive and compulsive nature of addiction. Thank you
Awesome
Beautiful
Thank you
Thankyou, I like your honest logic
I have spent too much time in the treatment world where treatment speal is common, I want to give direct actionalbe information that you can use right now, thank you for your comment. - Brian
Good video thanks. 😊❤ meditation I can try yes. Not really religion person so happy you named also meditation. Talkes to all people in there own journey.
Overall we are physical, emotional and spiritual as long as we are seeking to alwo all of pur parts to be expressed we are coping. I am gland that you found this video helpful. - Brian
Thank you for this, this is so true!!! 2 of my grown children are addicts, and unfortunately 90% of people shame, say they chose it, on & on and I too never looked at addiction as a disease until the last few years, I know the truth now how much the chemicals affect their brains, they really can't stop on their own without a compassionate treat program or Jesus intervening, God help others to stop the judgement & shaming 🙏🏼
Thank you for your story, misconceptions and myths of addictions are widely misunderstood even by medical professionals. I hope that you have the support you need to continue to support your loved ones, press into your faith and know that your not alone. - Brian
Thank you. This is helping.
Glad it helped!
How do I get help on line for alcohol & mental health from ACS
You can fill out a referral form on our website and submit it. This will help us determine how we can best support you. www.appliedcareservices.com
A lot of it? Bro it ALL rested with me and only me. No one else was at fault, and no one else could make me change, and no one else was my problem. Its 100% self.
A lot of the time that is the biggest barrier to our sobriety, check out our other videos. - Brian
Very helpful-too easy to try to change too many things at once and then FAIL. Starting with one thing is doable. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Yep-becoming the best version of yourself is an ongoing daily process. Thanks
Liked this encouragement to practice being the best version of ourselves ♨♨
Your wrong about meth not being made here in america. It is made here. Its called grow dope.
I liked your video except for that u put religion last, it should have been 1st!! Thanks for the info though!
For those that have discovered that faith is the key that would be the first things first. For me this is the way I cope with life and my own struggles. Each orders thier life to thier own priorities and whatever works to stay sober is the key. - Brian
Not everyone uses religion as a coping skill though.
Not everyone believes there is a higher power.
Great reminder. Sometimes it's hard to see a way out, but when you can take a step back, it allows you to see a little more clearly.
Excellent advise-
Great video btw 👍
So to summarise be mindful, in every day life in many ways
Mindfulness is a great tool! It is also about observing your limits and knowing which skill will help you through whatever comes your way! Remember though sometimes you will have to use more then one or change it up sometimes. Practice what works!
So true-brings much peace of mind when we celebrate who we are, as we are made.
What a great topic!
what a great reminder to find a helper that can offer feedback and support when we are struggling. Thanks
