Wow ! Thank you! I've been looking for this type of video, so I can precisely see the exact route.
How will this path be in winter? (january, february)
Juustja It’s not open during the winter, there is a different route for that.
@@mariaeditha thank you for the answer. When will it be open again? Or does it depend of the weather?
Thanks so much for the video! Many people were complaining about the steep descend down, but I didn't notice that in the video.
It's really steep going up and it's even steeper going down, AND you are exhausted, blown out, during the descent.
Beautiful! And educational. I envisioned the terrain to be much more difficult.
Thank you for this. I have been looking for vids/pics of the route as I hear it is the hardest part. I will be going at the end of May 2018 until...well, until I am done. ha Slow and steady like a turtle,...but I shall finish and "win the race" and cross that invisible finish line. I can't wait.
wow! liked + subscribed:)
Thank you so much for posting! I'd love to take this route but have a crazy fear of heights, experience vertigo, a desire to fly and/or become immobilized if I'm near a 'drop off'. Is the path ever cliffside?
Glad you enjoyed it. I'd say their are two pretty rigorous parts; though nothing you need your hands for. The section between 0:40 - 0:56 is quite demanding however you're rewarded pretty quick with a fountain at 0:56, great views and a cafe at Orrison (1:03). The second part is coming down through the trees at 2:20 when your knees are feeling the weakest (mine could barely handle it). Their is an alternate, much more relaxing route along a lane too the right that offers great views of the days ahead. It's hard to see the lane in this video but it appears very briefly after beginning the descent. Buen Camino. Best of luck!
I'm sorry I misread your comment. Their are a few sections to the side of the path that fall away pretty steep but the path is so wide that you shouldn't have any problems staying (atleast) 6ft from the edge! Case in points 1:00, 1:22, 2:07.
Thanks so much. This really helped!
It gives a good idea of the terraine...thank you
Hi, is it ok if we share on www.spainismore.com ? Otherwise, please advise. Nice and very illustrative video.
i've been there and done that ... and if i knew then what i know now .... ;-) Buen Camino ! ( love'd watching it )
This is so very helpful! Thank you for posting!
hi. if younstill have source video, you could transform it into very smooth hyperlapse using free microsoft hyperlapse tool. I think they opened beta just couple of days ago.
Great video of of the ascent. Thank you!.
Will be making this journey in May! Excited
I will be on that journey May 2015...thank you so much!
Great video! This brings back a lot of good memories!
A great overview of a beautiful walking trip - hope I can do it one day!
