Pastor Larson, I listened to your sermon on 1 Cor.2:14. POWERFUL message. Thank you for actually dealing with the text. However, there was a large gap in your message, which I would like you to fill-in if possible. Just as the text says, you talked about the natural man being non-receptive to spiritual truth. How then is it possible for a person without the Holy Spirit to ever make a SPIRITUAL decision to receive Jesus by faith since faith itself is a gift of the Spirit which only those who are born again have? How is it that a natural man becomes a spiritual man?

The everlasting gospel was defined in the following verse of Revelation 14:7. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not an everlasting covenant in effect before the cross, it's a new covenant that has a beginning, middle, and an end to admission. There will not be any more kings and priests added after the second resurrection. There is a fixed number of people, who participate in the first resurrection. Those who survive the day of judgment after the second resurrection must be monotheists or perish.

Just heard this message today in Church, and Lord prompted that i have been, in years past, like Achin... I missed the mark and operated in a manner that was not edifying to the Lord, bringing Him Glory and honour, but inflated myself. I took some of those accused things (the spoils) and I need to free myself of those things...Gotta give it back to the Lord, and be done with that life... Ive Loved the Lord, been born again for quite some time, but be mindful of what you see... Or else you'll Covet, then take, of a way that is not Gods way... To God be the Glory Alone!!

This is why legalistic Pentecostal pastors need to stop teaching believers to be ready for God's wrath at the great white throne. If it was possible for believers to experience God's extremely intense judgment at the great white throne, then that would have to mean that there was no point for Jesus to die on the cross for those who believe in him. According to 1st Corinthians chapter 3, a believer is taken to the judgment seat of Christ and their bad deeds are burned away from them. And then they'll rewarded for all the wonderful things they've done. The bible says nothing about believers experiencing God's judgment at the great white throne. And according to Hebrews chapter 12, if a believer goes out and sins, God will just discipline them. He won't cast them away forever. Jesus already paid the full punishment at the cross
