The quarterback was looking that direction. the Utah player was looking right at the quarterback, and knew that the ball was going to be thrown in that direction. Right or wrong call though, the AD stormed onto the field during gameplay, harassed the officials on national TV, then went on to whine over the podium the way he did and even went so far as to throw shade on their brand new league affiliation. AD Mark Harlan was absolutely out of control, and then he issued a statement the next day accepting the fine but making no apology whatsoever. And the Utah president/board of regents has taken no action, so one would infer that they’re all of the same mind. The level of arrogance and unawareness here is just staggering, and it’s a big part of what makes the Holy War rivalry so juicy. 😂
