Street Fighter 6 is my first SF game, but I'm not new to the FGC (I've been playing Tekken and Mortal Kombat titles). I started playing SF6 in early September 2023, and within just four months, I achieved the Master rank on December 30, 2023, playing Ken Masters.

ABOUT "PART 6" (Diamond 1 - Diamond 2) - December 02, 2023
The highlights are from my 6th-ranked session.
- This is where are perfected set-ups/mix-ups after Run Tatsu combo, Safe Jumps, and other meaty set-ups like Heavy Jinrai into delayed f-MK (overhead), and I got sharper in the offense, besides Ken's new sharp look. I live up to my name (Leather_Warlord) with Ken's new outfit :D
In this session you will see the following improvements:
- Complete mix-ups after Run Tatsu combo ender:
1. LP, Run MK (Meaty Overhead)
2. LP, Run Stop, CLK combo (Meaty Low)
3. LP, Run Stop, block/shimmy (to counter OD DP, Supers, Throw-Breaks)
4. LP, Run Stop, throw (vs. Blocking and Parries)
- More refined rock-paper-scissors and mind games
- More refined set-ups and techs
- Devastating combo set-ups that loop into one another (melting full HP bar in just 8-10sec)
- More well-timed CMP to counter pressure, and explanation for its usage. It's a great tool for interrupting the opponent’s blockstrings and regaining momentum, as its speed and range make it ideal for punishing overextensions or resetting neutral.
Apologies for the in-game commentators; they were there to help create a more enjoyable atmosphere during my long sessions. I'll be speeding up any Level 3 Super animations to keep the videos more engaging and less drawn out.
Trivia: That’s me in the thumbnail with Ken. The photo is from 2010, but my pose and facial expression match Ken’s perfectly, and we both hold a chain. Amazing, isn’t it? :) You can see proof of the photo’s date here:
