A scene that would've had a heroic but sad sacrifice to a character that was enjoyable in this sequel trilogy, that actually had a story arc... DIDN'T happen. All because Rose, being the clingy, bubble-head she is compromised the potential new base and could've been a wide open door for the First Order to take out the entire remaining Resistance army. Aside from this being a blatant Battle of Hoth look-a-like, Rose's action was really dumb to prevent the base being saved and make Finn a martyr.

What is that gross face she makes when flying at him 😂😂 “saving what we love” as everyone in the background is doomed.

Honestly, this quote could have been great within a different context.

Rose just lost her sister in a battle AND she probably thought she would die and kisses Finn goodbye. Give Rose some slack. Toxic fans are twisted hateful morons.

I know I’m going to get attacked for this but I generally like this film. However, this scene is so cringe. Right after the line “Saving what we love” her whole team’s base gets blown up because of her selfish deed.

Wait, Finn loved the resistance so much that he decided to sacrifice himself to save hundreds of people, ok makes sense. Rose comes in and prevents Finn from sacrificing himself because she loves him and PUT THE ENTIRE RESISTANCE IN JEPRODY

And, logically, they should both die in a moment anyway, because they are surrounded by enemy troops, and their vehicles are destroyed.

Only nerdy fanboys hate last jedi. It's one of the best. This moment is weird though.
