The owner/perfumer of Happyland passed about 2 years ago but his family has kept it going. I am glad because the blends Happyland creates are borderline niche. Nothing complex but different.

@ it’s not boozy but smells more like the inside of the casks that the whiskey is barreled in…plum mahogany and vanilla are the prime players but there are other woods and some light florals in it too. Just like with all of commodity scents this one is probably sold out so if you want to check it out you probably gotta find a decant somewhere or jump on their mailing list. That’s my only real gripe with the house…once they sell out it takes forever for them to restock
