I'm an amateur musician & banjo enthusiast in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia.
My goal is to create solo performances & collaborations with fellow musicians in regional Victoria.
It's all DIY at the "serious hobby" level - just having a go !
Check out my channel from time to time. You might find a few gems.
Cheers,
Banjo Baz

A gorgeous tune written by my friend Peter Somerville. I play it slow and sparse to match a misty autumn morning at my former rural home in Sedgwick.

Ya know, based on a moment of searching, it doesn't seem like a lot of people do django tunes on banjo. Thanks for uploading. Aspiring new old jazz tenor player here, working on manouche. Keep banjoin'
Thanks for the comment. I'm interested in many music genres, working on the basis you can play anything on anything. Why not ? Keep on saxophoning
To fast The gorgeous melody is lost at this pace
HEY...I KNOW THAT SONG. In the movie "Bonnie and Clyde" that was what they played during the chase scene.
Pink. Ticked pink!
Hilarious!
Raiders of the Lost Ark!
Yep. I thought that too.
Hi Baz have you got any bluegrass videos up? Was trying to find one on the Eucalyptus banjo with resonator on . Been wanting to hear 1 like that but they are hard to find. Thanks. Hope you can point me to a vid with 1 in it. Yours or others.
Great show
Indiana Jones, for the boulder sequence anybody? Jackie Chan's 'Armor of God' for the tree jumping bit.
Buster pioneered and originated most on the stunts used in later films....the difference is he did all of his stunts himself and most of them were one-take.
Poetry in motion!
I hope someone can help me with the following question: What kind of car are they driving in the opening scenes?
I believe it's a truck. I don't know what kind it is but I believe it's on display at the Stone Mountain Park here in Georgia. That may narrow it down for you.
@@southernguy35 The truck is based on a 1921 Oldsmobile Model 43-A touring car. The Model 43-A was powered by a 43-horsepower 4-cylinder engine and rode on a 115-inch wheelbase. The $1,445 touring car was considered medium priced when it was new. Even though Jethro wasn’t too bright, he must have been a good mechanic to have driven a 40-year-old truck from the Ozark Mountains to California and then keep the Olds running for nine seasons in Beverly Hills. (copied from a Yahoo answer about the truck. There was more about it being customized by car wiz George Barris)
I grew up watching The Beverly Hillbillies, one of my favorite shows! Loved the music I grew up on!
lhe bebely ricos
I wish they continued showing the whole house during the closing credits
I've eaten woodchuck. It's not a bad tasting meat and I wouldn't turn it down. My girlfriend's mom would claim the brains at mealtime and NOBODY messed with her! Ever seen a skull on a plate? LOL
