This is ok. The consistency for me was right but a bit granular and definitely not as smooth as with cream of tartar.

This is a cool idea but showing children what to do like this doesn't help them learn. Let them fail first and then correct or ask them to explain to you why they put it there and correct from the source

A standard cup of flour weighs 120 g. I made this recipe using this value. It was soup. I had to basically double the amount of flour to get a good consistency. I'm guessing you used very tightly packed cups of flour?
