@@DidiLeeReco what’s a big s? It’s useful for me because I’ve done it on a VW but never on a civic. You can see how the process will go once you see what’s inside the drum.

My model does but some don't. You can convert them over to discs. I'm not sure if the ones you saw were factory or someone converted them on thier own.

No, but when the replaced the brakes the may have bleed the lines to get any air in the system out and you may have been a that point where you lost a little and that's why

Do you know if the 2013 Honda Civic lx brake parts will fit on a 2012 Honda Civic lx? They both have front disc brakes and rear drum brakes, so I’m assuming they will fit?? Thank you.

Wheel bearings and drum brakes are totally two different things that would be a totally separate issue. I'm not sure if that's what you're asking but are they the same hopefully I answered your question

@@FISHERMAN331977 the issue is a reciprocating humming noise coming from the rear. The wheel bearings on the disc brake equipped civics are not the same as those on the drum equipped models.

One more quick question, once you put the thermostat on, does the check engine turn automatically off, or u have to do it manually by removing the battery post ? This would be tremendous help if u can help me out with this question

@@pabloniso10 you shouldn't have to do anything just drive it for a while and it'll go off automatically. Let me know how you make out after you drive it for a while give it a day or two. I don't remember having to undo the battery post. I want to say I just drove it for a while. Just be aware if you undo the battery post sometimes it resets the radio back to factory and won't work unless you get the code for it. It isn't always the case but it may happen.

Collective Consciousness yea thank you, when I did it I took off the battery and it went away, so I don’t know if the problem is fixed, should I try the scanner to see if ilthe car is good ? the first time I did it it’s said it was p0128 which is indicating thermostat. So hopefully it doesn’t come back

Don't think so, that may be a different issue. If the O ring isn't sealed it will take in air and leak all around the edges of the cover itself. If its leaking from the bottom then something might need tightening or it could be leaking at the cover but look like its leaking from the bottom.

Yes because you should drain it from underneath first. If not you will loose it all from the thermostat housing anyway. Use a basin to catch the fluid. I wouldn't suggest using the same fluid again unless it's new. It's cheap enough just to replace it

He actually made it way simpler this way. Ive seen the step by step and it seemed kind of overwhelming. But him pointing out where everything was and how it comes off was great.
