From what I understand, you have to shoot the parts when they spawn to prevent MC from gaining the insane defense buff. I do that but it just says immune and he gets his insane shield. What am I doing wrong? I thought those things die to one hit, no matter what. Does that one shot on the glass slippers actually have to deal a certain amount of damage?

Beat with Noise( tank heal), Crown(buffer) Laplace (parts destroyer and FI), Scarlet( grunt wipe) ,and Dorothy (extra DPS) First rotation with Doro and aimed to destroy 2 summoning turrents at once with Laplace if you aim and jiggle it. Second stalled to the first Grunt wave to appear then immediately Scarlet wipe and getting more shots to the remaining current on one side 3rd onward I let auto burst and repeated what i did on steps 1 and 2. Granted I was MUCH stronger than the recommended power but I kept on loosing and experimenting. Crowns MEA thing may or may not have had a role in it too.

I had to turn on simple cutscene to stabilize my timing in this stage. Used Tia to farm burst gen, and as a sacrifice. Using Red Hood to farm burst gen in the beginning isn't optimal since collateral line up is too late. You will die. Pause strat is optional. Utilized cover, and stage stalling strat to prepare for the boss. I hope this will help some of you out in the future. :)

May I ask why Alice reloads in less a second?

Nice, my line up was Tia, Naga, Scarlet, Liter, Redhood. Sadly during the OP rapture phase Tia had to go down but I managed it too, impressive that you lost nobody though.

I did this with my red hood in my main campaign team, got more burst rotations and over a significant dmg increase. Thanks!

Note: You can do pause strat on the QTEs during the transitional phase of MC into phase 2 to get extra time. You can also pause strat on the slippers too if you REALLY need to squeeze out all the damage of your full burst during 2nd half. Near the end, you can also stall spinning QTEs, shooting the core during the spinning part of MC, then break the QTEs once it stops spinning. To get to stage 9, you must have a well invested Cinderella. On top of that, you must use everything you've learned from pushing hard mode, such as using pause strat to easily line up your shots, de-sync strat to "aim bot" core shots, the ability to farm burst generation really fast using SR by looking to pre-full charge shot after full burst end, and hitting collaterals on parts with/without pre-full charge shot (another way to farm burst gen really fast). On top of that, you must use everything you've learned from pushing hard mode, such as using pause strat to easily line up your shots, de-sync strat to "aim bot" core shots, the ability to farm burst generation really fast using SR by looking to pre-full charge shot after full burst end, and hitting collaterals on parts with/without pre-full charge shot (another way to farm burst gen really fast). The trick to beating this thing? RNG (placement of parts), i-frame, utilization of Crown's shield during lasers on your highest atk unit or Crown (if she's taunting + invincibility), and mental strength. You can take an even giga maldy route. Do what I did except completely i-framing all the QTE big rocks. :) Additional Info is in the video description (and maybe follow my socials while you're at it). To min max, don't let Alice burst during 2nd phase QTE shield. Stall the tentacles, and go for core shots until the Kraken is about to swipe one shot.
