These coaches confidence is getting me excited

1. Alfred Collins is going into his fifth year in the program, but this is the first time I recall seeing him speak in a press availability. I think it is long overdue for him to have a consistently good season for Texas. Considering the limitations Texas has at Defensive Tackle, Collins finally playing consistently might be one of the most important personnel needs for Texas this season. 2. If the Texas Longhorns Football Program had been in a better position when Jake Majors was a True Freshman to allow him to solely focus on lifting weight, getting stronger, and gaining muscle, by his Redshirt Senior year, which is this year, he would be considered one of the best Centers in the nation right now. As good as Majors is, he still has significant limitations with strength. 3. There has been so much discussion about Cedric Baxter getting bigger and stronger. I think his weight is basically the same since last season. I think it will benefit Baxter if Coach Choice and Coach Sarkisian rotate Running Backs a lot more than they have in the past. I think Baxter, Jaydon Blue, and Tre Wisner should all be in a rotation that allows each of them to play a series, then recover. It would likely prevent Texas from having a 1,000 yard rusher this season, but it might allow Texas to have 3 800 yard rushers. 4. I think Anthony Hill will be one of the best Linebackers in the nation this season. I envision him being All SEC First Team and All American this season. I also think it's significant that he and Cedric Baxter, as Sophomores, are viewed as faces of the program. They were actually trusted to speak in press availabilities even as True Freshmen. The talent has always been there for Hill. I just hope Texas does not put too much on him as a Sophomore, like LSU did Harold Perkins as a Sophomore. Doing so caused his play to not improve or evolve. I do think the difference with Hill is that he is a true Linebacker, unlike Perkins, who is more of an athlete playing Linebacker. "Hook Em"

Aside from Arch, Anthony Hill Jr is the biggest recruit we recruited in the 2022 recruiting class. Having the headsets worn by Anthony Hill Jr. or Derek Williams will pay dividends for our defense when DKR is ROCKING with 104,000 screaming longhorn fans.

Great interviews. I love the new backdrop behind the players. We need to continue making every aspect of the Texas program feel like a professional organization that makes recruits say "Wow, Texas feels like a pro program, they would definitely get me ready for the next level".

Ant Hill is a beast. On his Third and Longhorn interview, he said he wanted to make opposing players quit.

I think Alfred Collins has a HUGE year. Lots of folks forget, we were worried about losing Coburn and Ojomo. No one saw the season T. Sweat and Murphy were going to have. Collins has focus this season he did not have previously. He will be a first round pick. Hook em!

Just know there a lot of southerns that will never accept you as SEC, it has nothing to do with sports or athletics it has to do with geography and cultural. Your not southern and never will be.

The heat is tough but it is good to hear they are using it to get better accustomed to field conditions in early season home games. Not every team can play well for 4 quarters in Austin in September even at night.

Remember folks, Sanders only played as a true TE for 2 years as he was more of a WR in high school. Absolutely a stud wish he would’ve stayed for 1 more year to definitely help the team and possibly be a top 2 round selection for next years draft

Those injuries hindered his growth and development as a WR he easily should have triple the amount of yards, catches and TDs
