And idk as a resident of KTM I would definitely say its very polluted and mismanaged and messy but we did have roads and a few buildings for years (though still underdeveloped than most capital cities). Just a little correction brother: Those hotels and buildings are not built by Balen. Those are built and owned by private companies. Big structures like skywalk towers are built by Central government. Balen is a Mayor and does municipal works like keeping the city clean and developing public infrastructures like roads, parks, public toilets, protecting and renovating existing temples and other cultural heritage structures, etc. He's also contributed a lot on other public sectors like education, health, traffic discipline, tax collection, etc. In conclusion he makes sure all the laws passed by central government are executed well.

The density of the city , is the main cause , i guess it will take forever to properly make this city 😢
