Next video in the series will look into 3mm end mill, I will also try make about 4, 8 and 12mm and then compare the cut quality between 1 and 2 flutes. I think that there is a possibility to increase the feed per tooth in this video and will try make a test model that could show multiple cuts in a good way.
I should make these hooks to go in my 1984 jaco caravan I am building. Head over to my channel and check it out. Keep going with the videos mate
Will try make some more videos on this topic. I did need to add some silicon or other "spacer" matrial on the hock to prevent some from sliding to easily but after that it's really great hooks and I have the possibility to custom make some longer ones when needed.
I can't wait to get my cnc. I am all subscribed. That looks like a great project
It's really fun making things. 2 sided project is a little more to think about but very useful to learn since it also gives the same knowledge that is needed for tiling.
Awesome work mate
Thanks!
Jätte snygg. Grymt jobbat
Tack så mycket!
The fans a SO loud. (It's a compliment towards the Replicape ;) )
Hi Lars, did you get this sorted?
+mrzood Yes, I think that I manage to solve it by increasing the max current on both Z and H motor.
+Lars Dunemark Good deal. I've been enjoying my Replicape quite a bit. Another thing to check is to make sure they have the same stepping applied.
+Lars Dunemark hi im having homing issues as well any chance i could get a look at your config
Sure, this is a old backup but the homing part should work. gist.github.com/larsdunemark/064843cc212e96d5da4f84b680aca208
How did you get it to connect to octopi?
+Hauvert Pacheco That is handled with the redeem plugin in octoprint that is bundled with the kamikaze image. wiki.thing-printer.com/index.php?title=Kamikaze
Haha, cool! Send me the printer config once you have it working, and I can add it to the repo/deb package.
+Elias Bakken I will go thru my configuration and upload all modified files in a git repo when I'm done with my tweaking.
