Prepping My Supercharged Corvette For Spring!!
It's hard to believe that this card doesn't have any problems because it's a notorious for very expensive maintenance problems. I think they're beautiful cars never driven one would love to drive one. They're just absolutely gorgeous they sound fantastic but all the reviews how bad they are to own as expensive cars also known as the number one most appreciated car. Why people are selling them for so little and they paid so much for them.
Not a proper 60 if your not pedal to the metal and no brake boost
Or how can ı reach you
I think that color is mahogany. I have a 76 in the same color. Im guessing your's is 76 too as it says Stingray. Last year for it.
I have that same color 1978
That car looks like it belongs to either a street pimp or Bozo the Clown.
yeah same with AMG .. the blocks are from Mercedes Benz, but besides that, not much that's the same .. those cars are just unbelivably pretty and so much fun to drive, Clarkson is right, to be a true petrolhead, a Alfa romeo or Maserati ownership is just required, and once you did that, its very difficult to get back to "normal car" regardless how big the headaches are that come with it. i had a 156 GTA years ago, and a Maserati Spider ... both cars were a total nightmare, literally, it was truely a gamble of "do we get there" still i miss both cars. quick tipp: check on part numbers, more often than not, a ferrari part may fit .. which usually is significantly cheaper.
Man I’m stuck between a c3 and a c4. The c3 was the first car I really fell in love with
Don't get a C4. They all have issues. Go C3 or C5
Change the battery once a month you’ll be fine that’s what I do with mine
I had mine but a lot of mechanical issues. You need to charge the battery if you don't drive the car for a week. I sold it and bought an R8. Not a single issue with the Audi R8.
Maserati GTS come with come with a tender use it and the battery will last
Couldn't watch more than 2 min
Does it handle well**
slow as fuck bro
My car doesnt make any noise when i break lol
@@mariohong9429 some do some don’t lol. Mine only do when the brakes are cold
I just purchased a 71 LS5 454 which I absolutely love. I’m the 3rd owner and I love the simplicity of this car. If I want all the electronics, I’ll drive my Acura MDX.
Only keep the door open. Not a very smart installment.
what was the issue?
A beautiful car but a FAT PIG with no handling character at all. I have seen so many guys drive this car and it's not a modern car. Add on the maintenance costs for things like brakes or suspension, and God bless you if you don't have other issues. Most car enthusiasts can find better alternatives for less money. That's why previous owners dump them for 10% of their original sticker price.
YES !
Greetings from greece, how many miles have you done for those 2 years?
Pirelli tires are a very soft compound so they wear very quickly. It's got nothing to do with the car. And try a spot mirror, blind spot problem solved...
So you went through all that.... Tore apart your car..... All because people you don't know on the internet told you that it sounded like an ignition switch...... The Maserati dealer would have found that problem and fixed it for about $300...... Yeah you're right.... you live and you learn
its bad you dont have to watch the video
IN CALIFORNIA YOU SEE THEM HERE AND HERE AT LEAST ONCE OR TWICE EVERY WEEK OR TWO
Don't sell her...
I'm thinking about buying it, I went on a driving test the car is super fun it's comfortable it's powerfull an sound is just amazing, how much milage did you put on it in those two years, I'm scared of the realibity. if you could answer I'll really appreciate it. ty
@@AboutTwoCakes3963 reliability is up to the maintenance and how well it’s been taken care of. Mine was beaten up a bit from the previous owners but has been fantastic. Owned it for 3 years and put on 31k miles
Yayyy we're back in action!!
I see why these are greatly depreciated. Basic use on these things is expensive for a car that’s mid overall. It’s clutch if you’re in your early 20s. You’d have similar maintenance on a 911.
My fuse doesn’t work so I get no music lol
Good luck 🍀 with the Maserati looking forward to seeing your next video
@@charlieryan1736 next video is up, it’s fixed!
Ohh nice. So the fuse was the issue all along, not the ignition lock??
@@Erikzapp yup!
@@Erikzapp runs like a dream now!
Glad you got it sorted out 🇮🇹👌🏻
Hell, yeah dude! Still want a Maserati GT so bad but nervous about going for it versus a GTR mainly due to the reliability
@@Erikzapp I do agree about reliability but watch my other videos on it! I have one about how much I spent on maintenance and is it worth it!
I was about to say, you need a new battery but it looks like everyone else says this too! Just put a new battery in and that thing every single year, that's what I do!
I never thought I’d see the day I’d say this but your Maser makes me glad I bought a Mercedes Benz
Ah dude I had no idea you were from MN until you showed the GPS screen. Lived in both Lakeville and Northfield...and funny enough both cities were on the map. Oh, and side note, I'll be having mine delivered from Houston to MN hopefully soon!
@@Grimlock53 awesome man, yep I’m from MN ahaha, enjoy it! What year?
@@Car.Nation 2010.
@@Grimlock53 beautiful car
I see some potential here...
battery should actually be closer to 13.1-13.2v (yes I know its 12v, but no ... a charged battery should be close to 13v)
This scares me
lol before this it was a fantastic car. Realistically no complaint besides this…
Unfortunately replacing the ignition lock didn’t fix the problem
@@Car.Nation AHHHH. I'll be following your journey. I'm right behind you with my 2015 GTS.
@@ProfessorDrives yours did the same thing?????
@Car.Nation Not yet. Right now I just have leaky valve cover gasket, and a pretty iffy front suspension. Also a quite noticeable whine as rpm's climb up.
Do you use a battery tender when it’s not in use? What’s the year?
@@Erikzapp I do and a 2013
You have to make sure that the camber is flat or you will go through tires
The three pedals aren't the standard setup. Left pedal puts the car in first when pressed, and puts it in high when it's let out. Middle is reverse, and right is the brake. The throttle is a lever next to the steering wheel.
Ahhh see, I’m still learning about it and I’m excited!
That’s why they made it cheap reliable and useful
So i want to get a new car. I gonna change my 2017 dodge charger sxt (that was my first car) i wanna jump into bigger engines and 2 door cars. This dealership is offering me a 2022 camaro 2ss for 48,000$. But they also have a masserati grand turismo 2014 for around 32,000$ and is convertible. I honestly like both of them. Which one would you guys choose?
Close to the weight of an SUV.
Battery for sure…..Maserati GT’s are very sensitive about Batteries
its a beautiful car. i have a bunch of cars i class my mazi up there with the best of them, certainly in looks
Recently sold my Porsche Cayman and now have the Granturismo on a shortlist of 2, the other car being a 997 series 911. The Meserati looks great like you say from any angle but I've always thought the 4 wheels need Spacers on this car to increase the track and give the car a better stance, then low and behold I saw your wheelspacers in the Boot (Sorry Trunk, I'm from the UK Hehe). If I do go for the Maserati I'd definitely fit them so can I ask you why you removed them. ?
Hahaha those spacers were from a buddy of mine who took them off a different car and gave them to me for free to see if they’d fit on mine. Unfortunately they don’t but yes I do agree it needs spacers!
@@Car.Nation .....yes I'm glad you agree. I'm not sure on the width without seeing the car close up but you'd need a 5 x 114.3 PCD Spacer with a Centre Bore of 67.1mm. They are a very rare car in the UK and expensive to run because of our taxes here, it works out at roughly $1000 Road Tax per year and fuel here is around $10 a gallon. A 911 would be cheaper to run because of its better fuel economy but I do fancy the exotic aura of the Maserati. Good Luck. !
@@jamesrichardson8417 my that is expensive! If you do get one, I’m sure you’ll definitely enjoy it!
100% bad battery, I have an italian exotic and my dead battery caused every sensor and light in the car to go crazy, car wouldn't even crank
I had exactly the same issue. Once the battery was charged all the problems disappeared!.
Dead battery - do you keep it on a battery tender while it's in the garage?
Yea I do
My car use to look like this. now its a true exotic TAKE A LOOK 👀
Bruh I just bought a 2015 Maserati Granturismo. This is not good to see. Update: Ive seen ur other videos lol I didnt recognize ur voice. What year is yours?
Hahaha no worries. I’ve driven mine 30k miles in 3 years. It’s a 2013 GT sport :)
