This is very relevant in the conversation surrounding gun violence and gun laws. The US owns the most guns per capita, but we don’t lead the world in suicides or in gun related crimes per capita. In fact guns save lives way more than they take lives every year in the US. They had to remove that stat from the CDC website so people wouldn’t know that there are up to 3million defensive uses of firearms every year compared to the 15k killed in violent crimes by a gun.

Palmer's son, B.J. Palmer didn't agree with this path and eventually Chiropractic won in court on merit. Chiropractors were being thrown in jail for practicing medicine without a license, it was a big deal at the time. The letter you're quoting from in this clip says as much that D.D. was talking about establishing a religion for purposes to protect the profession not establish a cult. It doesn't take more than basic reading comprehension to figure that out.
