Then I explain what exactly happened and show you the parts that broke. I upload this with hopes that it will help another 3v Mustang guy with a coolant leak like mine. I know its 6 years ago but, no mention of the Shelby GT??🤔
My 2007 vista blue coupe has burla after market Bullitt is like new 51000 it gets babied
I have one as well but manual, cost me $7250, agree about all the good points, Pypes on mine are great, I took off the spoiler and threw another $8000 to tidy it up and make it like brand new
How's the car now
It looks better with the 2 tone leather. Makes it look more custom and high quality.. my mom's got one. 07 cs convertible.
Just got me a 45th anniversary gt. And I love it. Has some work done too. Kooks headers flow master high flow cat. Borla atak. Cam injectors things like that. I would defiantly recommend getting one.
I liked this video until I saw it was automatic
It will smoke a manual tuned.
For me....a muscle car has to be a 2 door.......a v8........a manual shift...posi rear end.....dual exhaust.
I have this exact one!!! Got it for 3400 has a few dents on the passenger side door and it’s a project car and we’re fixing it all up and it’ll be nice
My gt/cs has the 2 tone 2 but mine is black silver and tan and I love it!
What kind of spark plugs and coils are you using?
Gotta say I love my performance white 09 Gt CS. I don’t think it handles crappy at all, even stock! Only downside is being solid axle, it will hop on harsh pavement, that’s all to it. Mine’s manual, had been super reliable, is fast enough and I agree, these look a lot better than s550’s minus not having the Coyote.
Bought it back in 2014 with around 63k miles, for 14300$, funny thing tough, now it’s got 94k miles, and they are valued the same I bought it for 8 years ago.
Although the cheapest, nitrous is not the best option for a street car. Unless you like rod knock ✊. It may seem cheap but remember you pay every time you refill that bottle.
All cars interiors are loaded with plastic and have been for the past few decades. That complaint is old and stupid.
I rather have plastics easy to clean and maintain
Exactly. It’s not like you drive around sitting on it or grabbing and touching it. Hard plastic is actually quite durable.
Aggravating canned music You suck
Bought my Vista blue GT Premium 7 years ago with 6,100 miles on it in Massachusetts. Paid $17,900 but it was immaculate. Still is. Just broke 20,000 miles. Automatic. My add ons : Borla Stingers, Gen 5 tailights, side window vents, hood struts, shorty antenae. Never seen snow, salt or rain. Love it. Many complements, especially the color. Retro style is great.
That has to be the most annoying intro music I’ve ever had too hear
Exactly what a douche
I just bought an 07 gt/cs with 33,000 miles. I am absolutely in love with it
Im only 24 and have a 07 GT/CS Manual 88K On it absolutely in love with it! The Shaker 1000 in mine sounds amazing! It’s awesome seeing other CS owners!
Whe someone says "just 300hp" I can't help but shake my head lol. 300 is plenty especially for a car like that, 5.1 sec 0 to 60 is pretty fast.
They’ve been clocked as down as 4.8 seconds with a good driver.
@@gorgeusjames I'm pretty sure the stock car does 5.5 seconds 0-60 mph
@@rafox66 no, it was right at 5 seconds. Some magazines reported 4.9 and others 5.1 for both the standard and automatic and if you tune the car and do some bolt ons you are below 5 seconds.
@@newfie-dean5803 Ah I don't know what to believe because I've also read articles that talk about 5.5 seconds or 5.8 and even 6 seconds. I just figured 5.5 seems about right, I own a manual GT from 2007 myself but have no clue what mine does exactly, It would also depend on my shifts of course. But I've only had it for about 2 weeks now.
is it crazy that this was my dream car when it first was introduced i say was cus at 19 i got a 07 gt deluxe for 8 grand taxes n everything this year i love the car n i will keep it forever the 3v community is amazing
I know this vids old but I just got this car in a manual haven’t been able to find out is it equipped with advanced trac? I don’t even see a display of traction control on the dash just the button lights up saying it’s off is there any other esc ? Don’t have the money right this second to go burn the tires lol ty any1 that helps
of you press the button like you said the “OFF” shows up on it orange but there is no dash light that shows up
That white box truck is stalking for the entire video, lol.
Getting an 07 California special tomorrow for 13.5k in PA. These cars are so fun sound great and have so many upgrades that make good power
Did you pick it up?
Yes I did! Great purchase been taking her out almost every nice day possible. Very happy with the car really feels like an old school muscle car without modern amenities!
Is that Moorpark where your driving through?
How’s the GT/CS been treating you?
I have the same car--- I only have 3500 miles. I ordered it from my local Ford dealer on Long Island and it was built and delivered in Dec 2006. I have automatic also. I have only put on American Thunder mufflers, now that 14 years have gone by its time to modify... better late then never. Vista Blue is best color.
Wow, Ive put 4000 miles on mine I got in February.
@@royxltyy66 well I now have 3650 miles. I know its a disgrace. many family things, projects, work etc... this car in December will be 17 years old. not even 5000 miles. I promise myself to take this out this summer and drive it.
Can you fit adults in the back
Got a 07 gt. You can fit really well in the back if the person in front is small 😂 just depends on how tall the people in front are
Can these fit adults in the backseat?
Hi I have a 2010 which has the same legroom. I let my friend drive and she’s 5’ Japanese, so she had to pull the seat all the way forward. My friend who sat in the back is about 5’11”. He was comfortable. No adult can sit there if the seat is all the way back. I believe the Challenger has the best rear legroom. The Camaro is the worst. Hope that helps.
Im trying to buy an 05 gt 4.6 3v wondering if they reliable or perhaps problematic
They’re absolutely amazing and reliable the 3V is one of the best V8’s ever.
You got dirt in your breaks
Idgaf the 05 09 mustang look so cool classic
I got my 3v from my sisters bf for 3.5k! Had 98k miles I've fully serviced it I'm redoing the whole suspension.
you paid 12k for a car with over 100k miles, and stock..... i got miune fore 13.5k cammed, fbo and only 48k miles just look around....
I would want no part of a cammed FBO 3V as a used car. For me that would actually lower its value from stock.
The 1st words out of your mouth we can tell you are an idiot. Honestly you look and sound more like a MIATA "guy".
just bought 08 gt/cs with 160k miles for $5400 Still love my 00 gt “new edge love”
Been reliable so far at high mileage?
for your ford racing banner go to any sign shop and get one made ive for my corvette and cobra lettering for my mustang
Man, I hate how long it takes for the engine to decelerate!
please stop crying !! get off of youtube your such a little whinning bitch .go buy a prius
I would skip the nitrous and go with taller gears in the rear,,better camshafts,,better exhaust system and finally a supercharger
When you rev the engine, the captions say [Music] lol.
And it’s not wrong
You and me brother trying show those 5.0s that the 3v isn't slow. I put on a hood with functional hood scoops. Looks awesome was not a fan of the fake one. The vinyl on the doors is a problem on all s197s 05 to 14. The auto with a tune is great.
Actually I have a 2010 3v, the interior was upgraded like the 5.0 s on up to 14 and they handled the door insert problem. In fact the interior in way better.
@@craiglewis7081 ya the 2010 is nicer interior I just don't like the body as I do with my 06. I also enjoy the black background for the gages. I do like all the 05 to 14 mustangs though. I don't like the look of the 15+ mustangs though.
The GT/CS is just a styling package and nothing else and you severely overpaid for that car, especially for a 2007, but I guess you know that. That front bumper is the exact same one as my '06 GT and it has full leather and it is not a CS. Of course mine is getting the GT500 rear spoiler, quarter window louvers, has full BBK exhaust and SVT wheels w/new tires (staggered). That blue is nice also as mine is Torch Red. As far as the nitrous goes... Stay away from it. You can do full bolt on parts and cams and be far better off in the long run as far as the life of your engine. Nitrous will destroy your rings and bearings especially if you plan on keeping this as a daily driver. As far as the hood (scoop) goes, change it out to a 2.5-3" cowl hood from Trufiber or Cervini. These Mustangs get crap because it is slow and cannot handle much RWHP without having to build the bottom end with forged parts. Recommended RWHP is 450 and then you need to look at doing the bottom end. And the reason why it gets so much slack about the HP is the cost it takes to get the car to 450RWHP. It is absurd. A Coyote swap is very expensive unless you find a great buy. An LS swap is far more reasonable both financially and for HP/TQ reasons. Problem is if you want a Chevy powerplant in your Ford. Lol. So to each their own, but these cars get slack because of the upgrades needed and price for those upgrades to get anywhere close to 450RWHP.
😂😂😂😂
@@clintcastillo1510 what's so funny? I mean everything I said was the truth so... 🤷♂️
It is a styling package like the OG 68 model but the CS front and rear bumpers alone are worth it. Also the 68 is now worth quite a bit more than an equivalent 68 coupe.
The gtcs carry a higher price because its a( limited edition) model with options that only come stock with the car not just because of the styling additions..it also depends on the seller ,,I've seen GTs that sold for a lot higher price than it should have..it pays to shop around as others have stated..
If your 06 has the exact same front bumper then your 06 was modified. The front bumper on the California Special is completely unique to the CS. I have an 06 premium GT that I bought new and I know for a fact what I’m saying is correct.
For a channel that has only 35 subscribers at the time of me watching this video, this is very high quality and I can tel bug big things will be coming to this channel! Also great video
My '08 is my dream car. It's not super fast but it's the ideal cruiser. The stock Flowmasters work for me and it is one of the best looking Mustangs ever made...looks like a '68 Shelby. Surprised you went with an automatic but that's not the end of the world.
Nice vid man. I have a Redfire with the red and black interior in a 2007 GT Premium, same wheels, heated seats and the Shaker 1,000. I absolutely love my car too. One of the least expensive way to get much better performance in this car is to get the 3:73 or 4:10 rear axle ratio. Don't get the 4:10 if you are going to boost your car. First gear is useless in this config. Nice to hear the info about your Bama tune. I have a Bama racing 90 octane tune on mine with an Air Raid CAI. I have the Borla Stinger axlebacks as well. It sounds and runs so good. Strong pulls and 25 mpg on the highway if you drive conservative. I bought mine for $15,500 a year ago but with 36,000 miles and show quality interior and exterior. I can let you know what other mods I have for my car. It looks amazing!
Hey looks awesome check my coyote swap ua-cam.com/video/pnfIC8E-F1U/v-deo.html
The paint on my 07 GT CS also faded a lot, it’s nice to know ford didn’t just screw me over
I have an 07 gt/cs and I raced an 08 gt and his was way faster I thought they were the same package
@Dol OW or the other car had mods done to it.
Same drivetrains.....only difference is auto or manual.
Not to be a wise guy,but maybe driver error,??? That or the other car was modded..
Mine’s an ‘08 GT/CS convertible... got it for $9.5 (but I’m in VA). Love the car! This era of Mustang is the best-looking of all the modern ones. The automatic, not so much (I can say that ‘cuz I have one too). The plus side of the auto: These cars were probably not beat-on as badly in the used market. Mine came from a wealthy older lady who used to drive it back and forth to work. The husband was a car-guy, which is how she got such a loaded car. They kept it stock, having the Ford dealer do ALL the maintenance. When I was buying the car, the lady went into the house to get a file with the window sticker, maintenance records, and all other paperwork on the car... the guy pulls me aside and says “you’ve basically just got an old-ladies car”. Even with 114k, it is near perfect.
