Video 3: Lavender Trail Robertstown to Clare, August 2024
This is the third and final leg of the Lavender Federation Trail, which runs from Murray Bridge to the Clare Valley exploring the eastern side of the Mount Lofty Ranges. There are plenty of ways to celebrate a good 325 kilometre walk that ends in the Clare Valley. The End to End 3 Lavender walking group was co-ordinated by Friends of the Heyson Trail. The Lavender Trail was developed by the South Australian Recreation Trails Incorporated (SARTI) who also maintain the route. The first walk is from Scenic Road to Tothill Belt Road.

A Prince’s art deco palace

The Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum building, a spectacular feat of Art Deco design, was completed in 1933 as the residence of Prince Asaka. In 1983 the building, already something of a work of art in itself, opened its doors as a one-of-a-kind art museum, its ornate rooms now housing exhibitions set in the peaceful confines of the grounds’ lush gardens.

Переглядів 263Рік тому
In March 2023, we hiked the Grand Traverse in New Zealand's South Island. Led by guides from Ultimate Hikes in Queenstown, we walked the Greenstone Valley and Routeburn Tracks over six days in sun, rain and snow. The Routeburn is one of New Zealand's Great Walks and the Greenstone runs parallel to the river. The Grand Traverse covers sections of Mount Aspiring and Fiordland National Parks.

@@MaxTravels-gb6nv Thanks for reply. I am curious if during the actual hiking time did they bring any food or water to the trail? I did not see their website mention about food and water on the trail. All videos tend to show eating at the huts.

You carry a day pack. We carried our own water - as did other hikers- and you carry your lunch and snacks.
