I like this way of rating the roads and agree with your rating. I went there a month or two ago, and the place is crowded, and that speed trap is always there. Luckily, the tickets from the trap are like a slap on the wrist. My friend only had to pay 45 bucks, and no points were added to his license; pretty sure it's not even on his record; something about being a county ticket, I guess; he was going 15 over when they clocked him. I will say that the neighboring roads around 129 are also highly scenic and fun. Just driving that area in the mountains and valleys is a joy.

My biggest issue with the dragon is how crowded it is, and it's almost too twisty. You can't really open up your car, and it's really narrow, little margine for error. Not to mention a 30mph speed limit means if there is a cop you're probably getting pulled over. Some of the southeastern backroads in ohio are a little better imo, less people, more open, more flow, and almost always a 55mph speed limit. In ohio you can go 10 over without getting points on your lisense.

You guys drive SOOOO slow... I always tell people, the best mountain (touge) driving is in Taiwan.

Boxer Gang! Just proof you don't NEED a $100k Porsche if you know how to drive. I like that you guys drive fast but have good street etiquettte. Nothing worse than guys who go over the limit and piss everyone off, which gives us all a bad name. Sometimes, just slow TF down and enjoy the road/view, it's not always a qualifying lap. That little Subaru is probably driving much closer to it's limit than the Porsches, but many times that's more fun!

Great driving content, and I love the long takes with even fewer jumps or edits, and the rumbling sounds for Boxster engines. A few comments: 1) Direction shown: On your master list of routes, do you note the direction of the driving in the video (e.g. Northbound, uphill, etc.) shown? 2) Prefered direction: I sense that you are showing only one pass in one direction; is the opposite direction drive almost as good, just as good, or better, or do you have no preferred direction? There was one four-car drive in Georgia (Blood Mountain?) where it was apparent that the uphill was better because the marked passing lane allowed flight-bys of your friends. Do you choose a direction to film based on other reasons -- the number of driveways on one side vs the other side, lighting to avoid looking and filming looking into the sun, or different criteria? 3) Start/Endpoints: Do you note the starting point and end point (or just a pair of points, if the drive is bi-directional) of interest? For a listing as simple as 'VA Highway XXX,' when I look at the map, the first segment of VA XXX I find might be 6 miles running through town; does your route go through the city, or start in town and head north, or start just outside of town and head south, or what? In some videos the mile markers are noted.
