We understand your frustration. Unfortunately we do not operate the rink. Perry stopped by and let them know the skates are dull and people cannot skate with dull blades. no it wont. just like roller skating will not better your ice skating. at the moment, there is simply no substitue for ice..., i mean not even close.

Synthetic ices are different. It's also very hard to measure percentage of the effort which depends on many factors e.g. the quality of ice, skate blades, skater weight, etc. Yes, practicing on synthetic ice significantly improves the skating technique and speed on real ice.

+Jacob Sullivan Yes, we have many players who do make a “real” ice rink during the winter. If you slow freeze the surface this also works, first a light coat seals all seams then start to flood.
