I bought one in 2000, had a brilliant 2 years on it. Astonishing bike. Then bought the same model in 2019 when I was 58, found it still amazing and an iconic design, but not comfy enough for a man of my age. Bought a far more easy to ride 1990 Honda CBR1000F. The Honda is like a sofa, but I wish I had the cash to have a classic GSXR750 in my lounge.

Never liked the look of 4 into 1 exhausts on modern classics. The left side looks too bare. 4 into 2 or 4 into 4 give better aesthetics IMO. WFH

Hello rocco, do you happen to know where this bike went ? I am pretty sure this is my old bike. It still has the Evotech Bobbins and my keychain. Sold it with 53648 kilometers. Bought is as a damaged non runner in germany in 2018 and brought it with me to Holland. I restored it and sold it in 2019. When i sold it it had a GSX-R 750 K7 rear shock and a full system Yoshimura. I very much like to know wher this bike went as i'm wanting to buy it back. Thanks.

Looks better, more streamlined, higher top end Punch than a 900R, fatter rear tyre and has a great duct tail. Very underrated model, the bike of the my dreams since seeing one in 1988 as a 18 year old kid. Pick up a mint 18,900Km black 1987 example in Mar 2023 after advertising for 12 months. Straight off the showroom floor after being in a Collection for Decades, couldn't be happy and now kept in my lounge room in between country Victorian Australia blasts. Now considering building Titanium exhaust headers, installing Race GP mufflers and a lithium battery for a little 21st century upgrade.

Fantastic bike, I had one the exact same 15yrs ago wish I never sold it. Certainly gone up in value too. Here in the UK i did the Lands end to John O Groats ride on mine, thats riding from the most southern point in England to the most northern point in Scotland avoiding motorways, she never missed a beat...

Beautiful this was one of my many dream bikes, 18 months ago I missed one one ebay I'd had a few drinks so just thought I would message the seller and incase it was still available, he replied saying he was kind of glad it didn't sell... I turned up with an empty van and the asking price in cash and came home with it.
