I owned the giant Legion Go PC Handheld since 2023, so i know PC Handhelds. A Xbox handheld can do things you can't do on a PC Handheld. Run 6-700 backwards compatible 360 games. 360 emulation are primitive on PC. PC Handheld's can't run Xbox One Games. Xbox 360 and Xbox One being exclusive to it will be selling points. Especially portable Xbox 360.
@V3ntilator as an Xbox 360 emulator machines, in my opinion, I don't think that will be a good selling point for the majority of gamers. They need to innovate, not go backward
@@dannypassionIf you wanna see Innovation, look at Legion Go and Tencent 11" 3D and Aya DS Handhelds. There isn't much you can innovate vs those. Xbox 360 were by far the best Xbox console, and it's games will look great on a small screen. Xbox gamers are still buying 360 games left and right every week. Also. A huge list of 360 games were never released on PC or anything else.

@@dannypassion Actually i play mostly newer games on PC, but have played games since Commodore 64 / Amiga. Seen it all, and all the innovations along the way. :)

Bring the resolution to 1080p and turn on Dynamic resolution; that will help control the graphical intensity of the volumetrics, ambient occlusion and reflections, keeping the frames steady; Consoles usually use this method. If you see the huge 47-34fps loss at 1:36 - turning on 'variable shading' could help too because some of the smoke effects are tessellated volumetric shaders which is super expensive. Generally, Volumetrics is the core problem of random FPS drops in newer games so if you can keep those effects Low, you'll usually get consistent frames with minimal loss of quality. (from there, if you still get minor drops, that's just the mesh complexity or the alpha card particles, Can't do much about those.)

I think I had it one, the one that comes with the game. I recommend using it if you are using upscaling tech
I'm just posting as a PSA: When testing, its important to test Level 3 Critical Arts. I tested on many PC GPUs and even on a 1080, 2070, and 5700 xt, there would be frame drops during those Level 3's IF "Shader Quality" was set on high.

I use 768p for the most demanding games. There's a reg file if you google it to get it.
This game is NOT optimized to run on handheld. I found that by setting everything to the lowest possible quality gave me a somewhat 60FPS locked experience.

People need to appreciate we have handhelds that can hold 30 that’s really all we need for a handheld, especially for games like street fighter, 30 with motion blur pretty much looks the same as 60.

@nomaschalupas2453 that doesn't matter! The screen at 120 is ok, because that's the native RT of the screen.
@@dannypassion there’s a thing called vsync , that’s why it’s slowmo. If you want vsync at 30 you need to set the screen to that also. Or turn it off! That’s what I’m talking about

I get no where near locked 60 fps on my ally and I tried everything. I get better fps on my steamdeck on sf6. What am I doing wrong lol? 😢😅
Hey, which game are you playing? Also make sure to change the TDP to Turbo mode. Also I'm plugged into the electricity, you don't need to be plugged in to get 60fps but it helps because you will be running at 30W
My problems with my steam deck is the graphics and the limitations of the power. Only 15W performance is poor
I'm running everything on medium/high 720p, change ambient occlusion and screen space reflections to off, and shader quality to high. That gives me locked 60 on a custom all 18w profile too
For all my gaming sessions using the ROG Ally, I like to have it plugged into the electricity because you can unlock better performance.

720p on the ally screen looks Amazonia so did the deck and Nintendo switch if i can get 45-60 fps im good. The ability to play triple A games on a hand held is amazing

I made a mistake. When I was running on battery, it was on 15w, so if you run it at 25w, you should be able to get over 45fps
