I bought the same slash in the same color about at the same date as you. Also came with the same “problems”. All you need is adjust the low speed idle after the brake in and you are good to have fun. I’m super happy with my slash. I fucking love it.

Exactly what happened to mine was just using 2s lipo and the box says you can use it safely and after a week of using it same thing happened to me
