RE: The H2O bowls. Janee: "Don't do it." Me: "I already did it" (last summer). lol You're right. It's a waste of money. I quickly came to a similar realization--If you want a hydroponic pothos, just buy a regular pothos in soil and give the roots a good wash before placing it in your vessel of choice. That's what I did for all my other hydroponic plants.

Add hydrogen peroxide to your water and change it more frequently. Root rot can happen from lack of accessible oxygen.

Get a Hoya Krohniana or Lacunosa, (same plant) they bloom a lot!!

I'm not sure if my comments at the end got through 😅 but hoya Publicalyx has elongated somewhat thinner leaves than the green carnosa. There is a publicalyx called splash but honestly it's the same plant just splashier. Your green carnosa above Esy is actually the same variety as the hoya krimson princess! Fun fact, krimson princess sometimes reverts and I've taken cuttings from mine to make a green carnosa 🤗

I am impressed with your successful props. I have tried water, fluval, and moss. My rate of success has been about 1 out of 5. They all get root rot. I love the plant so much but am really struggling with it😂. It was a beautiful plant until I put it on a moss pole. It slowly started dropping leaves, then I discovered root rot so I chopped it up, thinking it will root well. Ha, what a mess. I just potted up 3 well root bits and the rest are really iffy. You give me some hope!!! Thank you!!
