Top 5 cigars I currently have in my Humidor
A humidor should be a mix of cigars you can light every day, and some that you save for a special occasion. This is my top 5 of the latter.

The Ritual of Shaving
Переглядів 7 тис.6 місяців тому
A guide to making a ritual out of shaving, using a traditional badger brush and shaving cream as well as other men's grooming products, using Patrick Bateman's morning routine as inspiration in the wonderful surroundings of the 'Apartment' penthouse suite of the Connaught Hotel in Mayfair, London. Video by Hash Rifai
Can't take anything you say as credible, you think you are an expert but until you smoke Nicaraguan and Dominican cigars for 80% less the cost. Plus I had so many defective cigars from Cuba I decided to stop smoking them altogether . I have been smoking cigars for 55 years and lived in Cuba for two years and Nicaraguan cigars are the best in the world from quality, consistency and rollers nothing can come close at $10 to $20 compared to Cuban cigars overvalued at $80 to $200 just plain ridiculous.
We get it, we're poor
I live in America and i get opuX at my local lounge. Regularly
nice video Tom, thanks for sharing!
I have a box of the supremos, it's not better than a siglo 6
Very nice
Literally, the only thing im envious of the Brits for.......being able to get Cuban cigars. And then again you go ahead and tax yourselves to death over them 🤣
Do you smoke cigars or the anillas? You remind me of a dear wine collector friend of mine, he has all 100 points from Wine Spectator and Wine Advocate, rarely truly the best wines in the world.
He is extremely handsome , impressive face and beautiful hair. 😏
Tom, you’re a north star in the sartorial heavens. Please keep this content coming!
650 for dried leaves 😂😂😂😂😂 I guess I’ll stick to my 10 sticks and call it good.
Perhaps it should be noted that for people with a high instep (like me) the Derby is more advisable than the Oxford as the fit is much better.
Such a shame that this gentleman uses shaving brush, cream and bowl but a cheap plastic razor ruins all these effort. Maybe it's time to buy a classy T-razor? One from Muhle or Rockwell might me a good choice.
Maybe he likes cartridge razors. And, there's nothing cheap about that razor.
yes that so sad
Horrible shoulder pads from the coat
@worldwide_ghosts_channel Anyway, they are very exaggerated shoulders.
Bijzonder dat het geen huid-irritatie geeft
2.18 tegen de haargroei in scheren?
2.18 tegen de haargroei in scheren?
There is an ever deceasing amount of people in society today who refrain from that coarse speech, a vulgar language sometimes impregnating with dreadful swear words. It’s a comfort being in the presence of those have nice English speaking voices and know they will never transgress as they do not have vulgar words in their vocabulary.
If we dress well we not only are well presented but it adds to our confidence. This is particularly so with bespoke shoes. Because although no one knows they are actually handmade except for the shoe’s owner, however this secret knowledge adds significantly to one’s confidence. Thus the truism of clothes maketh the man is particularly true for bespoke shoes.
I see opux x at my local cigar bar every 5-7 months I've had the pleasure of smoking 3 different types of them
Disappointed there wasn’t any nudity…
Because he’s a well presented gentleman with classic good looks and taste that has the strength of character to resist any temptation to be like the masses, he therefore is influential in this field he has chosen to be in.
I think that covers it!
After the very bad price increasement of Cuban cigars, after the Chinese holding bought habanos s.a. I’m not longer interested in this wannabe quality overpriced sticks. The Benchmark is set by Davidoff. The Cubans got a lot of work to do to come there beside the „myths“ about Cubans cigars.
650£ a stick😱
Самый крутой аромат у Floris это Honey Oud! В Москве его не купить, но при случае всегда его покупаю в Англии
Remember, If your dad doesn't have a beard, you have two mums
Seems like a pretentious prick who just wants to show off his collection, whilst us common folk are beneath anything that he might have in his collection. I purchase cigars to smoke them, not make myself a status symbol or make myself more important than anyone esle
Absolutely superb and time for Acqua di Parma to release a double edge razor. And sad that T&H Highgrove line is not for sale here in the US. Kind Regards from Utah and thank you for your stellar work withThe Rake.
I think the most special cigar I own, insofar as it's the one that I cannot (as yet) bring myself to smoke, is one last 1999 ERDM Tainos. For my money, it's the finest Churchill ever to come from Cuba and it still stings that they discontinued it.
Excellent list, being a Cuban purist am iffy about the last piece, however the choice redeem it being an Opus X. Cheers sir
Bravo! Very impressed with the hotel suite! £16,800 per night, eh?!
Patrick Chamberlin 😂
for real haha, i was looking for this comment
Hard to listen to someone talking about expensive cigars when hes wearing his dads demob suit

Just two corrections… Behike’s do not have Volado in them. The blend consists of Seco, Viso Ligero and Medio tiempo. And rhere is actually an extremely rare Behike 58 that Habanos. S.A. put out for a very select few people to try.
This is an interesting video. You speak about cigars being a collectible asset class like wine, but on what platform can they be sold? You mentioned some of the prices, but how can the average person who has collectible cigars in their humidor liquidate them and turn them into cash?
there are plenty of online and real world auction sites plus a ready and waiting community connecting in various ways both online and off
@@HabanosChris some examples would be helpful. Thanks.
Tom, I forgot to ask. What is the Santa Maria Novella scent at 2' 43''?
why shave when you can be a bearded man
I can’t be a bearded man. I grow such a terrible beard that I must shave.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should, Sir.
Fuckin rich people ruining a good hobby again by pitching it as an investment. They’re for smoking!!!
Bro... top 5 of your daily cigar.. not your rare cigar...
These are your most rare/expensive cigars. I thought it will be your top 5 choice and the reasons why you picked them.
I don’t understand how they can be a good investment if it’s illegal to sell them outside of licensed establishments and auction houses won’t touch them unless you have a full unopened box.
It’s very rare to find a box that is entirely unopened. Even at the importers, they cut the stickers to open the boxes so they can inspect the cigars and make sure they are up to standard. I’ve seen it in action.
it's easier than you may think 👌😚💨
Pro tip from our man Kirby across the pond, when applying cream to your brush turn the cream upside down onto the brush to prevent any water getting in your cream
Great video, please make more videos about cigars since the community Is lacking cigar videographers!
😚💨👌
"hurricanes and stuff"..lol.Over the past year, I've managed to fill a dedicated humidor with 60 Opus X perfectos (I'm in Ireland). My mate in America said it cost him about 30% more over there.
yeah, as a retired American guy spending $750.00 a month on a daily $25.00 premium cigar isnt possible. my few premium cigars ( padron 1926 and 1964) are a once or twice a month treat for me. my everyday go to stogie is the Padron 1000,2000,4000,5000. etc
opinion's are like a-holes everyone has one, my opinion is Padron 1926 or Padron 1964.
😂 funny comment, great cigars. My favourite Padron is the Exclusivo in Maduro.
1926 is 1 of the king.... especially 80th
@@pornets understand that they are made to celebrate Mr Padron`s birthday. in 2002. said to be rolled by one man with expert ability. great cigar as all padron`s.
Nice video
What an interesting fact about the behike constructed of 4 leafs, thanks you for the insightful videos. i always look forward to them.
What a superb video, very relaxing just watching it, a therapy in itself. I'm a big fan of Floris No 89 too, and, like yourself, I have multiple scents. I'm a big fan of Terre d'Hermes too. Very impressed with the balanced diet 😄
are you Patrick Bateman ? cool make Video i like the movie
