British sound drive pedal test - Ronnie Perkele
I have always loved drive pedals and been looking for the perfect sound. My favourites are often in the British sound, Marshall, Plexi or what ever they are called. I have a bunch of favourites that I wanted to share with you. Maybe you will find a favourite? Or maybe you think that there is no difference.
This is how I have recorded it and the equipment I have used:
Guitar:
Stratocaster with Gibson 57 classic humbucker bridge pickup and Dimarzio DP409 Virtual Vintage Blues2 single coil in neck
Pedals:
Carl Martin Plexi tone - High gain
Carl Martin Plexi tone - Lo gain
Tone City - Golden plexi V1
Electro Harmonics - Glove
Joyo - British sound
Blackstar - LT Dual (Channel 1)
Blackstar - LT Drive
These pedals goes in to my Logic Pro x through:
Audient ID4 interface
Bluguitar - Blubox with 1971 stack
Bluguitar - Amp1 Iridium on clean

When everything closed down we did some recordings in our rehearsal studio and released on UA-cam with a video. It went pretty well and we got nice feedback and wishes to have the songs released on digital platforms. That made us enter a proper studio for the best result possible. We also decided to re record Göteborg which we also made a little video for. Enjoy!
