[03:23] “I had the great privilege of sitting in boardrooms, and in most of my roles, I was the right-hand person of CEOs throughout the years. I got to witness a lot of great leaders.” - @Tyra Tutor
[04:08] “Have a willingness to learn, a willingness to work hard, and make sure you have a good boss - someone who is willing to give you a chance and to give you new opportunities to make sure you aren’t stagnant in your job.” - @Tyra Tutor
[12:02] “The most important thing for the CEO was that what we told our client through marketing, what we told the public through PR, and what we reported to the Wall Street analysts with numbers was all consistent, transparent, and accurate. That hit home for me.” - @Tyra Tutor
[13:59] “I like to surround myself with people who love to work hard. I'm not saying they don't have balance, but when they're at work, they're working hard. They have a good attitude and are ready to do whatever it takes to finish a job and give ourselves a well-done.” - @Tyra Tutor

[24:29] “Work hard, be there when no one else is, and do the tasks that no one else wants to do. Many times, I held roles and took on tasks that were not in my job description, and sometimes, that got me into a meeting I wouldn't otherwise be in.” - @Tyra Tutor

This is great info. Thank you, Jason. 🤠🎶💞🎤
Great video!
I saw your UA-cam channel, the videos are very good but the views on the videos are very low. If you do SEO optimization on your videos then your videos will get more views and subscribers, and Your channel will grow organically. Your Video will be viral.
Great podcast! David's points on relationship-building and the importance of understanding a journalists' needs really resonated with me. Having been in media relations for 15 years, I’ve applied similar strategies, but hearing David articulate them with such clarity was a great refresher. The discussion was not only engaging but also provided valuable nuances that are often overlooked. Kudos to both Jason and David for a fantastic episode!
What if I draw out and paint a painting but I used two photos I got off Instagram to combine to draw out what I want to paint.

Jason Mudd, What a valuable interview! Thank you Steve Cody for the work you are doing ❤ -Elizabeth
I sincerely appreciate Linda's transparency and a deeper explanation as to how the teams at SWA navigated Winter Storm Elliott.
Jason, I share your exact thoughts at @11:47. I’ve never understood how some journalists have been able to immediately land executive-level communications roles for companies straight from the newsroom. In my opinion, while there are transferable skills, there is still a LOT to learn. No amount of newspaper writing or reporting on television prepares you to lead a communications strategy for a corporation and handle all that comes with holding a role like that. I too agree there has to be some cutting of the teeth; so I’ve always wondered how some journalists made that leap immediately. Great convo!
Very useful session
Such a valuable and timely conversation. Thank you.

Ooh my brother
Really valuable insights!!
I agree with Pam Fultz and Jason Mudd that purpose-driven storytelling is essential for PR professionals. It is a powerful way to connect with audiences, build trust, and drive positive change. I believe that PR professionals have a responsibility to use their skills to tell stories that matter. By sharing stories about the positive impact of our clients' work, we can help them to build stronger relationships with their stakeholders and make a real difference in the world. I am committed to helping my team of PR professionals tell purpose-driven stories that will make a positive impact. I believe that this is the best way to build a successful and sustainable PR business.
Thanks for sharing! We appreciate your additional insight.

Peace & Love, Phenomenal Episode, I Greatly Appreciate 98% Of The On Top Of PR Podcasts; They Are Definitely An Enlightening & Insightful Eye Opener. I May Be A Tad Late But I'm Right On Time!!! Thank You For This Wonderful Series!!! Peace & Love!!!
Thanks for sharing this information. I have a book coming out this year. The book is based on my teaching methods. Moreover, I am also planning to launch an online course to go along with the book. Therefore, I would like to know when I should begin the press release for the book (30-60 days after the hard copy/Kdp)? Keep in mind, I still need to prepare for a book tour, and interviews. Timing is everything... You mentioned that the PR should be the last investment. I actually like this idea, but with all things considered (budget wise)... What would you suggest?
Hi Jackson, First congratulations on your book. That's a big deal! Let me clarify: PR should be your first investment. Build your brand and visibility through public relations before you invest in other forms of marketing. In this video, Jason suggests that you develop a targeted and well-groomed media list down to the best contacts that cover your specific topic. It's critically important that your media list is a good one - not too broad and not pitching the wrong person nor the wrong outlets. Never use the "shotgun effect." After you personally send one to one custom pitches to your highly targeted media list, you follow-up by adding or offering more value and insight. Make it easy for the writer to say yes by providing them with a complete story. Once you've exhausted those opportunities, you might also want to invest in posting your news on a paid syndicated news release wire service. Check out this post: The best media pitch is a story that's already done www.axiapr.com/blog/the-best-media-pitch-is-a-story-thats-already-done Keep tuning in for more insights and best practices, Jackson. We appreciate your support!
You change my live thanks Jeffrey ❤
Hello Jason, I saw you at Carl’s podcast. What type of PR would you recommend for a realtor in Florida like myself? I moved from Miami Beach up the coast to the treasure coast. I’m with Berkshire Hathaway (Warren Buffett). I can use your help!
Thank you for having me on your podcast Jason! I enjoyed our conversation.
Excellent tips. Thank you.

Hey!!!!!! Tuning in from Nairobi Kenya
Thank you very much for this!
I love the Information and tips on this Jason. I'm completing a transformational coaching course to help people through opioid addiction and quit 10 x's faster than any other approach. I have also authored a book named "How to Quit Opioids For Beginners" Beginners are someone who is addicted to opioids as opposed to opioid drug abusers. I have an unbelievable story myself and video to go along with some of the more chaotic moments through the 5 detoxes I survived through in the past 10 years... I am just launching the course this week and the book will be out next month. I thought a great hook would be: Covid, opioids, Isolation, and the Aftermath" Since Covid seems to be winding down a bit now. I also will be donating Overdose medications to the Dope project that supplies states like West Virginia that do not have a budget for those items. But it can and does save lives every day! I was going to reach out to my local media here in Chicago as well as west Virginia to get some clips made then shoot a bit higher. I know I think big, but Thoughts? Again, great content Jason... I'll be binge-watching your content soon.
Agreed, Jamie is very impressive. Do you know if she can give advice outside the US?
I love it,, Informative,,
Very good and funny videos bring a great sense of entertainment! and very useful in life

Jason, I though the two question that you brought up at the end, “Is this helpful to the audience?” , and “Is this adding value to people’s lives?” were the most valuable thing that you said. It would be great if you lead your next video with this. :-) David
I really liked your conversation Jason. shout out from Zimbabwe. Been looking for something to refresh on PR measurement towards my Masters exam next week.
the video image is too poor, you need to fix it more
