Dare to Move Mountains
Приєднався 1 сер 2024
ALL THINGS VAN LIFE ✨Join us as we travel cross country and dive into life through the lens of nature, survival and mindfulness.
Daretomovemountains is about a young woman in her twenties from New York City who decided to take a hard reset from her 7 year career in Finance/Asset Management. I bought a Ford Transit van with my Fiancé to travel the world on our savings. As we travel with our two poodles King and ZZ, I continue to keep track of what stimulates me and what I can lean into more as I design my life and the next step for my future.
Van Living, Wild Camping, Hiking, Dog Mom of 2, Swimming/Cold Plunges, Ancient Historical Tours and Outdoor Fires.
Follow me on my outdoor adventures and daily shenanigans.

650! 😮

Awesome trail
@@AllenOxendine ‘Twas a good one, but I really loved Canyonlands NP - it caught me by surprise. You ever been?
@ we were in Canyonlands a few days before going to Zion
Looks like a cathedral.
Wow That’s actually something
Epic 👍
👍
Arches is so amazing! Especially this time of year!
@@freyaaurorawilding it’s such a special place! If you go on the off-season - it’s a ghost town which is lovely! Sometimes the colder weather can make for a better experience
Excellent 👍
So cool
These shots are amazing. I’ve never been to a place like this
Yeah old me HELL NO, but young me would be all over it.
@@johnnyguerra3754 I kinda feel that! I actually said those exact words when hiking the Grand Canyon a few days ago! The context was different, it was more like “ Alana your old self is trying to creep into the present and convince you that you cannot complete this hike solo” I had to give myself a pep talk on the way back up.
Robert is sad. He never has a smile on his face. 🤔
Beautiful, I admire you and your dogs. You are both very brave. Take care. ❤️
Nice Music for Video. Nice Scenery too 🇵🇷💃🏽
@@Yosef-x7w thank you thank you! Loving the PR vibes! 🇵🇷✨
Where is bryce canyon located at
@@TheNannakim Southern Utah! If you are ever around this way, try to visit all of Utahs national parks. It’s possible to visit them all in anywhere from 5-7 days if you wanna make it happen!
Love hiking Zion away from all the tourist areas...it is so much better.
I forget the name of the arch, but in Arches NP, there is a particular Arch that allows your to catch a sunrise though it and it is absolutely incredible
@@JacobNascar I believe it’s Delicate Arch, if our minds are working the same way! images.app.goo.gl/1f3ENad4CuUeQmNGA When we were there, it was right before New Years so, really empty which I loved!
Born and raised ? Utah and Colorado are neck and neck for me right now… Colorado is becoming densely populated but has such a great variety when it comes to hiking but Utah’s rock formations, sands and geological history are also wildly unique & captivating!
Wow wow wow
Home, Sweet Home!
Just hiking or...either way gorgeous
@@liMe-leMon thank youu - hiking & swimming through a canyon, total of 22 miles (The Narrows, Utah) 🥾✨
Absolutely beautiful...I could spend days and weeks in a place like this!
@@raphael2336-h8r thank youuu! Rightttt - between Utah and Colorado , I could spend weeks in some places without needing to drive very much!
Good job titi nana
❤❤ 🧼 🧼
Wonderful
Thank you thank you, where in the world are you?
@ I live in western Washington
❤
Beautiful and challenging.
It was cold but we talked the whole time & hiked 35 kilometers! 🥾✅
@@DaretoMoveMountains You are amazing!
Very nice. 😊
Dekujuuu ✨
@DaretoMoveMountains Super! 🌞
I am related to Robert.
Where?
Zion National Park, Utah.
The Narrows in Zion National Park, I will be posting a full video in a few days. We spent the day hiking bottom/up in the narrows - clocked in 22 miles.
❤❤🎉🎉😊😊
Ooommmmmmmmmmmmmm
Looks delicious! If you cook like that you can be mean all you want 😂
First time here stay safe and stay warm
Welcome to our channel ❤️ The weather has been guiding the route we’re taking. Montana was gorgeous but we were pushed out by the snow & even Utah days became bitter. Southern Utah has been good to us so far. Where in the world are you?

This place rocks
you need to work on that music/talk balancing 😅
So cool
Nice
Scary if it starts raining
Arches 1000 percent!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Really? Any reason why?
@DaretoMoveMountains Delicate Arch is my favorite place!!! It truly is Holy! Where sky meets earth. 🙏
@@Get_Some_Nature I’m with you on Delicate Arch. There were probably a total of 25 people up there when I went, if you ever go back go during the winter ! It’s beautiful & empty haha
@@DaretoMoveMountains I've hiked up to it many times. Sunset is my favorite time. It unlike anywhere I have ever been. I've hiked over 5500 miles in the last 4 years all over the east and west coasts, border to border. Delicate is still my favorite place.
@ whoa !! Okay so, you’re out here doing the damn thing ❤️✨ About how many did you hike in 2024? I clocked in a little over 600 but spent half the year working in an office and hardly hiking so, I had to play catch up the second half of the year
Be careful out there pretty young lady where u at?
❤❤❤❤❤
❤
@@lasteffimichelle 🌹✨
Nor Cal, High Sierras?
@portermeeka863 Rocky Mountains actually, but this is a throwback so chances are the weather isn’t as lovely as we speak
Those are the best hikes; beautiful and challenging 😊💪❤️
For sure! Navigating Ice, Rock Formations and a cold creek made for a good physical/mental challenge for 4ish hours. At one point, I had to ask myself “do we risk climbing to avoid getting wet & possibly fall or do we just walk through the creek?” I played it kinda safe with this one
That means you haven’t properly exercised you dogs. A walk doesn’t cut it. Run them for at least 30 mins to an hour in the am and pm and your dogs will stop chewing
Please I lived on a farm all of my animals free roamed and guess what my dog still enjoyed doing...... chewing random stuff 😂 specifically my thing's the little furry brat 😅 don't always be quick to judge!! Some dogs are just cheeky 😂
@ a tired dog doesn’t chew, it sleeps. Read one book on dogs and the top of every list for animals acting out is lack of exercise but I’ll let you tell the story. Passing blame doesn’t help the animal
Social media dog owners
@@katiealldis2738these two were born and raised on a farm, now they’re adjusting to van life. But they are very unpredictable.. sometimes they sleep post walk or hike & other times they just mess things up to remind me that they are mama’s little sh*ts 😂🖤
@@DaretoMoveMountains they always will be ✨😂💩
