Just because something has been around for a long time doesn't mean that there still can't be wisdom and benefit to gain from them today. There are books that have been around for years and continue to be read in 2024 because the information still applies and is useful. That being said, the person has to be open and willing to receive that value.

DISC can be helpful in understanding the different ways people communicate and show up in the world. I've personally found it to be helpful in my professional life and it's even helped me with a close friendship. It's okay if it doesn't resonate with you, but the information is here if you ever need it.

Unfortunately DISC was flawed from day one and therefore its use as a personal or business tool is severely in doubt. But if people find it useful then I see no reason they shouldn't use it. However as someone who has to interview people and who's responsible for offering people a job, anyone who put to much faith in DISC or anything similar would never be employed by me. I simply couldn't trust their judgement.

@@peterreed9566 You're welcome to have your own view on this. I learned about DISC through a company I used to work for. We were trained in DISC to help us better understand our team and the customers we interacted with.
