So here's my take. For every true child of God, the bible is our standard. The bible is not a story book but the holy words of God. For every true christian, we don't indulge in circular or any kind of practices because they are good morally neither do we abstain from certain life styles because they are morally bad it is very simple, what is the mind of God concerning this? And once the mind of God is ascertained in a matter, then there is no need to go to and fro. So it is never about it being legal or not, good or bad it's simply about what God has said or is saying in it. So if the word of God detest betting, gambling etc then it is not right to participate in such. Personally i hate betting because my bible which is the standard for my life is against it. So no matter how the circular world sugarcoats it or legalizes it, it remains a NO for me.

God abeg o..lol. My honest contribution. First of all, it was culture that defined the roles of house keeping for both genders not God and culture is subject to change because it is dynamic. God clearly stated the hireachical duties of both genders in home management and God's principles are fixed but the patterns may varry that is to say, both c ouples decides what happens in their home and what is applicable in mine may not be in yours it doesn't mean it is a sin as long as it is not against God's principles for marriage. In my opinion, it should be a mutual agreement and understanding between both couples. And it doesn't demean the man to becoming the tail nor does it elevate the woman to becoming the head under any circumstances before God whether the man is working or not for that season of his life and just as a wife can financially support her husband so can a man support his wife with the chores. At the end of the day it is both their home all that matters is winning together. I honestly wish i could elaborate more on this. This argument is petty and baseless and is still on in our contempoary age because most people are yet to understand that we do everything together to build a healthy home. when you are ineffective in your God given offices which is the most important all of this is futile. Let your home be WORDLY built not worldly built. I hope you got a mind shift for the best.
