Day 7 of the 7 day SOTD challenge is complete and with no better way than with a Slowdown Sunday. Linda Ronstadt's career achievements are incredible. She owned the 1970's pop scene, became a stadium-worthy live act and dabbled in multiple genres of music. Today we are turning up her version on a 1963 song that ruled the airwaves in 1980 with Hurts So Bad.#slowdownsunday #therockcave #songofthe...

'Love 'Take Me Home tonight' but 'I Wanna Go Back' is everything that was special about US rock/pop that was barely a thing in the UK, we got the odd crossover like Mr Mister or Survivor but nothing like what you had there. I just find this song ironic that 38 years later I still go back to 1986/1987 to of my favourite years in rock and always will be.
