On January 20th, 2025 - I’ll be debuting this new version of Write A Song About It (WASAI)! Special thanks to M.A.D. for making me such a dynamic track to accompany me.
After being diagnosed with thyroid cancer in October, I started singing WASAI really slowly and sadly to myself. I’m theorizing that older parts took the “battle cry” aspect of the song to the maximum and turned it into my personal testimony song. It’s been continuously true the more songs that I write. I really do write a song about everything that happens to me, and truthfully the songs are getting sadder and more hopeful all at once.
There’s so much that’s happened in my life that I still haven’t quite processed, but writing about it in every capacity is helping me process. I want to say I’m really grateful for my Orchestra. Thank you for sticking by me through this life.
