Yes! No black grease to make it impossible to see what's happening, or to make me wish I had not started the job. Why do so many DIY people not bother to get rid of all grease before attempting to explain cv's ? Some of these people look like they work in a coal mine - even before the start the job. Show pride in work!

Im working on a project of turning an atv 4 wheeler into a side by side... I wanting to mount one of these infront of the driver side and only use one side of the rack tie rod and attach it to my old steering shaft where the handlebars use to be. Or is that to much pressure on one tie rod to push and pull the old steering shaft? If i were to mount this correctly, down low and in the center of my project using both ends hooked to my wheels. What stops the wheels from cutting to sharp? My original steering shaft has stops on it, thats the only reason i was going to cheat and hook one end of it up high and to to my handlebar shaft.. Any info will be greatly appreciated

I'm building a buggy. The shifter is way forward to the drivers seat. It needs to come way back. Can I use this box and CUT that factory rod that goes to trans? Or do I need a new Rod?

Aluminum??? Shouldn't tie rod sleeves be steel??? Aluminum sounds a little weak to me. I'd be afraid they would bend going over a curb, etc.

Great video.....I use a paint ball marker and mark a line across the axle so I get CV clocked on same spline.....the mark also serves the purpose of telling me if I've twisted an axle with a simple visual inspection.
