Lol sounds awesome 👌 Thanks for watching 👀
Was anyone your inspiration for moving to Dumaguete? Maybe Paul, Mark, Gio, Mike, Kevin… Or maybe Sebastian?
Actually I was here before and liked all the choices that are near by only decide to try mindoro because of lower cost of living ( rent ..land buying if ever ) But many food prices are actually lower here then mindoro for me most important is having little day adventures near by things to keep me busy and so far I feel this location is great for that . Thanks for watching 👀
incredible deal WOW
Thanks Was a random drive and hunt lol Thank you watching 👀
Hello if you don't tell us exactly where it is how are you helping us really we need to know where it is location is everything tell us exactly where it is is it that hard to show and tell exactly where it is
This video was more based on budget it's in a compound that are owned individually and example I did another video explaining more how to find deals like this and best way .
How can I get a hold of you?
Hello you can email me at Brianlong169@gmail.com Thanks for watching 👀
Hi , did you leave Calapan?
Yes I left and new adventures on different island much more to explore . Thanks for watching 👀
Hi , are you still in Calapan?
No I am moving and will soon make some videos on that as well my new area . Thanks for watching 👀
I would love to be able to find a place like that so that kind of money it would make it very much simple financially as I don't have a real large monthly income
Yes i agree and if staying away from very popular tourist destinations rents is much lower..like any country, I just moved to dumaguete where now my rent is double and smaller but with pool and some appliances, hot shower and free internet but mostly I like the choices in the area to explore so really depends your wants etc . Thank you for watching 👀
This is the daily price, right?
No that's for monthly rate ...normally for move in you pay first and last and one month security deposit...so for example this place at 5 a month is 15 at frist move in that gives you the first month and last months paid and one month (5) as security deposit. Thanks for watching 👀
Good price for a place in a shi*hole.
Bahay yan ni boss rechie home along the riles
Lol the private entrance 🤣 Thanks for watching 👀
Fort Santiago Intramuros Manila
BINGO!!! It's a great place for some history .. love these old buildings Thanks for watching 👀
What's the the nfo on apt. The name cost & city name ...contact on a apt there & deposit
It's in Calapan city mindoro Island 5000 pesos monthly right now filled up
@ronwilson2971 standard deposit is first and last month and one month security...so in total would be 15000 pesos. Thanks for watching 👀
A little hole in the wall
Lol yes 🤣..and then into under ground tunnel and holding cells a old fort
Holy anus
Manila cathedral and st. AugustineChurch in front with museum. Also try
Yes it's very beautiful thank you
Enjoy traveling Philippines
Thank you 😊
❤❤❤
Dungeon
Yes a prison
Intramuros Manila

No but I heading there this coming week. Thanks for watching 👀
Its nice place but your more nicer than the area.
Thank you 😊
Hey joe just keep blogging who knows maybe one day you will become famous. Lol
Lol thank you actually I enjoy sharing the adventures
Low cost of living try to live in village, rent a small land and try to plant vegetables just and opinion
I so agree and also so peaceful. Thank you for watching 👀
Wow its a beautiful view ❤❤
Thank you 😊 Yes feels very peaceful.
Davao city is nice place to stay also specially in Island garden city of samal .
Thank you for sharing that area I seen on UA-cam many nice spots on that island one day I hope to view the area :)
Be wary of storms😂😂😂haha!
Lol all part of the fun 🤣 Actually been really lucky ever time I been here the most I was delayed travel for 3 days but nothing serious. Thanks for watching 👀
Hey man great video I love this. Ive been in philipines for about a month now. Im a contractor in the middle east. Im next to BGC, its cool but I hate the city. I need to be more in nature and Im not getting that here. I would love to go hunting fishing more living off the grid. Is that doable in philipines. Im in a good place but there is a lot of extreme poverty here a lot of places smell like dog cat pee poop. That kills me to see.
Thank you 😊 I agree it's sad to see in the city people living a difficult life. If your more into nature by all means need to explore much more I will be sharing more videos of dumaguete area soon but there is many places even where I am now is a nice island but I just personally like more daily activities to choose from . Thanks for watching 👀
@@brians_life_compass thank you for the response. Yes I like different activities. Ive been in BGC for about a month and WAY TO MUCH CITY.
Is there good Scuba Diving on Negros Island?
Yes actually many dive site resorts about 20 minutes out of dumaguete..then some very good spots about 45 minutes past that ..the other end of the island I haven't explored yet so don't know . Thanks for watching 👀
Hi Brian, your video quality is really good...may I ask what camera equipment you use and if you have a tripod for this time of video ?
Thanks I just use my galaxy s 20 and a simple selfy stick that also is tripod...actually the one thing I would upgrade frist is my mic it's a cheap one and for the price I am happy with it I only spent 30 dollars but if getting the 300 dollar set I feel much better othen then that for now it all works pretty decent. Thanks for watching 👀
I have been living in small coastal towns in Ecuador continually for 8 years. I am 65, still in pretty good. I prefer a beach where i can bodyboard on small to medium waves. Play volleyball and throw frisbee long distances. A few beach bars and restaurants too and i am a happy camper. Grateful for your suggestions.
Hi, how far is this from a major city?
Calapan is a city and in fact it's the biggest on the island of mindoro. Then it's about 2 hours by boat to batangus and from there if travel in the morning Manila is 2 hours . Thanks for watching 👀
Where is this located?
This place is in mindoro Island and Calapan city. Thanks for watching 👀
Where are you located in the Philippines
This place is in mindoro Island Calapan Thanks for watching 👀
❤️🇬🇷🇵🇭
Thanks for watching 👀
Perfect timing. I was literally just looking at this process for a 9 week roadtrip early next year, should be heading past in Feb. What area of Calapan? I keep seeing you on hills with a view but can't seem to find that on google maps.
The hills side is in Calapan is xevera and another past the pier . And safe travels enjoy. I haven't yet done a longer trip with my scooter after the move I may plan one . Thanks for watching 👀
What are your total monthly expenses?
Thanks for asking I will be doing more budget videos as they do change depending on location and types of foods . I will also be sharing the costs and details of the upcoming move to another island Again thanks for watching 👀
Where is the view from the thumbnail?
Right in the beginning of the video as I am walking into the apt you can see where I have the thumb nail Pic from its from inside my yard just before the cement wall . :)
Wow! I have yet to see a foreigner in this low price!!
Thank you 😊 I did make a video on best ways to find some rental deals and gave a little explanation on how this one came about . Thank you for watching 👀
Good move man... doing it yourself and find out exactly how it's done through to the end... it really is that easy and not get intimidated of doing paper works in Philippines. Best way to educate yourself of the laws too. Take care and God Bless.
Thank you for the very nice message, and yes I think your right it's best way to learn and get involved more how things work here . Thank you for watching 👀
I just pay a fixer 500+ the fees, see them later in tge day.
That's one way I don't mind doing it personally at least here it's simple and fast . Thanks for watching 👀
Aim located in queson city aim interested any more like yous
Thanks for watching 👀 If something comes available in this compound I will post a contact number
I heard bringing quaity shoes n hiking boots would be smsrt due to lower quality goods in philly.
Yes fantastic point it's not so much the quality as more the size I can't find ( maybe besides Manila) a good comfortable fit of 12 to 13 is my size ...and nothing worse then a uncomfortable shoe while hiking or just walking about . Thanks for watching 👀
@@brians_life_compass I heard you can order almost anything from Amazon. Is that cost effective or does Amazon charge too much for shipping ?
@budmccaff550 sorry delay answer actually here I am not sure if Amazon works it didn't last year but they have there own type lazada and shoppe and good price and cod but for clothing and shoes I think I rather see before buy
@@brians_life_compass Thank you ! Hav a great day !!
@budmccaff550 :) you as well
For that price you can afford to make some improvements to the place, but then I would negotiate a long term contract with a stipulation that the rent will not go up.
Yes very true and here you can up to 25 year lease also here anything under 10k peso per month has a law for rent increases. Thank you for watching 👀
I would say the Philippines financially speaking 1/4 the cost of living.
Yes ...although some special items like cheese 🧀 and deli or imported foods etc can cost more here then home ( Canada) But for sure over all much cheaper. Thanks for watching 👀
@@brians_life_compass we were just down in Leduc and Port Perry, Ontario and wow the prices.! I much prefer the food in the philippines than here in Canada.
Watched a lot of Philippines content lately. Liked the few vids of yours I watched so far, they seem quite practical and I like that you keep them pretty short. Good luck with your channel, it is better than many!
Thank you very much for your message I appreciate it !! Keeps me motivated for making more thanks for watching 👀
Great format very relaxed love it just keep going you can make it. Mal & Rose Gold Coast ,Australia
Thank you Mal & Rose I really appreciate your comment it does keep me motivated. Thanks for watching 👀
Great video Brian!
Thank you very much 😊
so where are you planning to move to? Your other video you said you were going to move for some better things that are inconvenient here.
I am going to dumaguete actually here in Calapan lots is very convenient and much easier to get to Manila. But for me personally I enjoy having more daily adventures as in going to hot springs..water falls ..beach ..exploring mountains and sadly that is lacking here in comparison I will be paying more for rent and for a smaller place but it's something I feel worth it .
