That is the Toledo Branch at Dunkirk. That is the PRR Fort Wayne Line now CF&E that crosses there.

I didn't get them in Tipton but my brother Kevin did. I keep trying to get him to post them on his you tube account.

Yes it seemed a little short Lived on the C&O of Indiana. The line was pulled up west of Amboy in the late 80's but stayed open from Richmond to west of Amboy. The footage you see in this video are near or at Amboy servicing the grain facility. So no I don't think much CSX ran through after 1987 before the line was pulled up west of Amboy. The rest of the C&O was pulled up in 1993 leaving only the stretch of track from Amboy to Marion which is still open today for the Central Railroad to handle Amboy from Kokomo.

Thank you. I sure do hope so even if it means a merger. The last couple years there have been rumors that NS wants to turn over the branch from Wabash to Marion to Cera but that's all it has turned out to be.

I think they just made a hard stop as they were pulling into the yards. They would pull up further after a switch was pulled a few times.
