I had multiple runs on much better pace that were killed by Urby's AI breaking. If he shoots at an enemy (such as if the door decides not to close for no apparent reason and a zombie walks into the room) between him teleporting into the room with the security terminal after you and him actually walking over to it, his AI breaks and he just freezes up, softlocking the game. First attempt today; would've done more, but was still kinda tilted from Urby screwing over my Floor 01 runs prior and had some stuff to get done soon anyway (because of how much of the time I set aside for speedrunning Urby wasted talking and getting stuck). I know I can shave a few seconds off this time, but that's for another day.

First run crashed on 03 so I restarted it. This is my second run. It crashed on 15 but it was on a better pace, so I just rebooted the game and kept going. I don't know if it'll be accepted on speedrun.com since I only have demos up to Chamber 15, but I don't think it's good enough for anyone to accuse it of being cheated, either. Also lack of an autosplitter plus a minute of waiting at the end...

Stopped LiveSplit a second late again. Far from a flawless run, but finally a respectable one. I knew if I just had a run with no major 'redo the whole level' type mistakes I'd be in good shape, but a 13 minute time save is quite a lot. Sub-40 minute goal blown wide open. I managed to throw even harder than last time on c2a4b, followed by a gold split that I know I can do better than. Missed my sub-2:20 goal by under a second. A pb is a pb, though.

Far and away the worst pb I've ever had. It's 5 minutes ahead of my last run, but every chamber after 17 was catastrophic. That aside, I did this in a short session of running all my current speed games with a new keyboard I bought to fix a ghosting issue that made it difficult to crouch jump. Close to my sub-20 goal, but not quite there. Mega threw in Hazardous Workplace and fumbled around a bit too much in The Develoseum and The World Machine. Not sure if this run will be accepted in glitchless because it has an accidental quantum crouch, not that it saved any time.

Semi-consistent lineup for getting the cube to land on the button. As long as you're in the center of the door holding into it, you can just have the cube bounce off and still get through, which makes it much less precise. I'm not sure how replicable this exact setup will be in runs, but it's certainly helpful to have this general idea of where to position yourself and the cube to get it to lan...

If I had a nickel for every IL I ended up spending over an hour and over 300 attempts on today I'd have two nickels. It isn't a lot, but the fact that it happened twice means I should probably go outside and take a nice walk and eat a warm meal and socialize with my friends for a bit. Or maybe do some more runs one or the other. Anyway, trick probably isn't consistent enough for a full-game run...
