Played first horn on this alone at the Augustana University Honor Band over the weekend, and it might just be one of my favorite pieces I've ever played.

Performed this in my most recent concert at Iowa State University and I am IN LOVE with the second mvmt. and the opening chords are just perfect! P.S. The clarinet part for this piece is so fun but definitely takes some practicing.

Its simple yet so complex. The theory isnt crazy, but it's such an emotional ride. Maslanka is most definitely my favorite composer. Ever. Thanks for sharing this beautiful work!!! ❤
