I love creating, but also archiving eclectic content, so go straight to the PLAYLISTS. Unfortunately it's caused me to lose access to previous pages of mine. I've lost access to the pages, but they remain active. So, here I am again, hoping I've learned the lesson. My first page, ScienceFindsGod, has over 9 thousand subscribers, with some videos having over a million views, but nothing I've done since then has come close to that. Still, for all the heartache UA-cam has brought me, I still love creating edited videos.
I'm not too interested in creating a personal vlog, discussing the events of the day. We all have our opinions, and there are others more capable of dissecting the mechanics of society than I am. I just want to enjoy posting the stuff I do. So, here I go again.

Emerson, Lake & Palmer (California Jam 1974)
Emerson, Lake & Palmer playing "Karn Evil 9" Back in the day this was considered very hi-tech effects. I can remember my friends describing how mind blowing it was, and they had lasers!

Three Dicks & two Battle-Boys. Openly contended with SNL, and most of us thought they did a pretty good job. Great characters created by Michael Richards/
(Live 1973) - CULPEPER'S ORCHARD
Переглядів 619 годин тому
A Danish rock band fronted by Englishman Cy Nicklin, this foursome produced three albums in the early 70's, before disbanding but recorded another one under the shorter name CULPEPER in 77, but it does not sound much like their former albums. The debut was particularly successful both commercially and artistically, a very entertaining and professional effort, somewhere stuck between ZEPPELIN, T...

you would have some fun with these two 🥵🏴🇬🇧😘🌹
I read Lord of the Rings in High School. When I heard they were going to make movies, I reread them to refresh my memory. In my opinion the first movie Fellowship of Ring was the closest to the book except for the missing Tom Bombadil, the movie was as I pictured it in my mind's eye as I read it. Thanks for the Tom Bombadil narration❣

Oh my god that "approximately 700 years old" joke is so good
Taika made the right choice updating the voice for Viago though. He and Jemaine sound too similar in this version, both in their pitch and their accent.
24oct2024 The Flim-Flam Man.1967.(GC Scott.Sue Lyon.H Morgan.Albertson.Pickens.Sarrazin.W Rose.scp.Guy Owen.nov.Swink.ed.C LANg.ph.Jerry Goldsmith.)_1n.6.8_1h40_/ A rural con artist and an army deserter cheat the townsfolk and are aided by a rich gal who shields the fleeing duo from the wrath of the pursuing sheriff.// //TRIVIA: Although Jay Ose is credited only with playing the small part of "2nd Fertilizer Man," the Los Angeles Times reported during filming that he was on set to coach George C. Scott in his role as a con artist. Ose, a professional magician and card dealer, is apparently the man whose hands appear in the close-up shots of Mordecai Jones doing particularly elaborate card tricks.// George C. Scott's initial film performances were usually quite dark ones, such as the forceful District Attorney in ANATOMY OF A MURDER or the cynical billiard player manager in THE HUSTLER. In 1964 he showed that he could be hysterically funny and still a dark figure in the film DR. STRANGELOVE as General "Buck" Turgidson. Turgidson is able to suggest that a mistakenly ordered attack on the U.S.S.R. with nuclear weapons should be followed up by a real sneak attack to finish off the "Ruskies", but he is capable of also getting so carried away with his fascination and love of flying that he can picture the formation of the fliers on the mistaken attack as beautifully skillful and trained to avoid being shot down - until he realizes they have to be shot down. It was a wonderful performance, and showed that he had a great sense of timing and comic rhythm. But it was not until 1967 that Scott got a comedy role that was not so dark. So instead of being one of the madmen who cause the world to come to an end, he played Mordecai Jones, the ace con-man of the modern age, who shows his young disciple Curley how corrupt the world is./ Scott went to town here as the grifter, cheating the likes of Slim Pickens (with the found wallet trick) and Strother Martin with an expensive gambling game that Michael Sarrazin (Curley) learns how to play for the prizes. He also manages to make life difficult for Jack Albertson and Alice Ghostley, whose daughter (Sue Lyon)ends up romantically tied to Sarrazin. Finally there are the guardians of the law, Harry Morgan and Albert Salmi, always one step away from catching Scott and Sarrazin (listen to Morgan's ridiculous conclusion that the two grifters fled across a deep river with a special boat - you can never hear the word "amphibious" again without smiling). The film reaches a climax when Scott is accidentally captured. But will Sarrazin demonstrate he has learned enough about con-games from the master to rescue "Ole Mordecai"?/ An entertaining comedy, and another worthy performance by Scott in his film career.// One of those movies that's fun to watch over and over. An all around excellent cast headed up George C. Scott as the traveling con-man . Support by Harry Morgan, Slim Pickens, Strother Martin, Jack Albertson, Michael Sarrazin, Sue Lyon. Woodrow Parfrey and Alice Ghostley make this comedy/light drama film a classic. The con games played on Martin, Pickens and Parfrey are truly great as well as the car and truck chases. You can't help but like this picture.///
Was this a spinoff of the movie starring Bill Pullman?
❤ She was the moon and he, the sun, was gold...
One more song to interpret for this album, and I'll have the whole thing.
What's with these scantily clad anime girls dude?
Julee had a great voice, I have a few of her albums. Twin Peaks was one of my all time favorite shows.
Oh, please! Patrick conceived and wrote the story. Much as I admire him, not everything to do with Yes involves Jon. The only mention of Jon on the album cover is where Patrick thanks his (then) bandmates. Give Patrick the full plaudits he deserves. It is, of course, one of the most magnificently barmy albums ever recorded (where else do you get "electronic slinky" among the instruments) and I bloody love it!
No, Jon wrote the short story.
@@ScienceFindsGod-Official Not at all. I know not everything on Wikipedia is 100% correct, but I think the following just might be: "The album is based around a story, written by Moraz himself, of a massive tower in the middle of a jungle." And: "Moraz received the inspiration for the album's concept while riding an elevator in a newly-built hotel in the United States. The text of the album's story in fact initially calls the fictional building a hotel. Moraz wrote the story as an allegory for life and the afterlife." And I'm sorry, but even your description of the story is incorrect. Go to the album cover, either LP or CD (I have both) and get the real story.
What a great cast
It's kind of great that there were so many all-star movies back in the day.
Annie Haslam a une voix incroyablement superbe.
She's absolutely one of a kind.
Bo Hansson, incredible!

If this choice was offered to the people of the UK today, I would say about 85% would stay in this other utopia, to be rid of Starmers socialist government, would be like a new beginning, I'm not joking when I say this, it's the truth.
