My buddy has a 14 328i and we have timed it multiple times completely stock and it's pushing a 5.2-5.5

@@cayenne_turbogt7102 I think it’s pretty freaking quick. Especially once moving, this thing picks up speed very well. The only hold back to me is the transmission. It’s an 8 Speed designed by Toyota so while it’s reliable, it’s not my favorite. But besides that, it moves very well and the V6 sounds awesome.

Looks like this car has a lot of rev hang.... That would drive me nuts. I had a 2020 Civic Si Coupe that had tons of rev hang and it drove me absolutely bonkers. My dad and stepmom had a 2012 Impreza Hatchback that I learned how to drive standard on and I loved it but with the rev hang, I don't think I'd like these newer Impreza's. I have a 2023 WRX and thankfully, Subaru has fixed the rev hang issue in the newer WRX's. Glad I went with the WRX for that reason alone.
@@riley1733 It does suffer from rev hang like most newer, modern manual transmissions suffering from our government’s interference for emissions regulation’s. But all in all it’s a slow, yet enjoyable car to drive.
@HKN_RealReviews Looks like it. I was actually gonna consider buying an Impreza before I bought my first standard Civic. I love the Impreza's, I really do but after experiencing rev hang in the Si, I know I wouldn't like the car because of the rev hang. Completely kills the driving experience for me. It's honestly the biggest reason I got rid of the Si. I couldn't stand the rev hang. Makes the 1-2 and the 2-3 shifts unbearable. The car was jerky as hell between upshifts (especially 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd) and it drove me nuts. My dad and stepmom have a 2023 BRZ and that car suffers from rev hang as well (not as bad as the Si though) and I notice it every time I drive the car. I like the car but that would drive me nuts if it was my car. Hopefully Subaru fixes that issue in the Impreza's.
I drive a 2017 Mazda 6 grand touring sedan, bought it 2022 with 24,505 on the dash. It has a very smooth drive and it definitely has the speed when I need it, I only use the sport once, great speed without. The interior is absolutely beautifu white leather; as well as the exterior an interesting blue, left it at the dealer to have a tire replaced, service department staff said customer love the color. Thanks for the tour 👍
I have a similar story I bought a 2017 Mazda 6 Grand Touring in 2020 with 28k on the dash I absolutely love my car still.

I have a question? That car issue in which you discussed was that a recall?
This video is old so I’m assuming you’re talking about the suspension issue (correct me if I’m wrong) It just recently got recalled but I bought one of the first ones so mine had the defect from jump street. I just wasn’t about to live with it and made Acura stand behind their product long before the recall came about.

@@Ckg281 It’s a decent powertrain but I stand firmly on what I said. The transmission is okay but the augmented sound piped in through the speakers to enhance the engine sound and the tachometer not matching up properly with the shifts take away from the whole experience. Definitely not a speedster but it is a comfortable, well designed vehicle. Let’s not mention the warranty. Many owners of the Hyundai, Kia, Genesis brands have reported poor warranty work, huge back order for warranty repairs (too many vehicles affected), and the tendency for the manufacturer to find every reason for it to be the customers fault to avoid having to fix the issue. They have a pretty terrible reputation for standing by that wonderful 10 year, 100K mile warranty.

modern manuals are terrible because of regulation. i do love manual cars but the way rev hang is its bad i drove one today and the clutch bites at the top also im not in favor of. old school is better
Back in 2023 test drove both the CVT and manual versions of the Integra at my local Acura dealership. While I absolutely loved the manual transmission, the heavy traffic in my area made it less practical. As expected, the CVT didn’t impress me it fell short of delivering an engaging driving experience. I was looking to replace my recently totaled 2014 TSX, and the same dealership, knowing I wasn’t impressed with the Integra, called to let me know that a 2020 certified pre-owned ILX Premium with just 3,800 miles had just arrived. In terms of engineering, the ILX felt much closer to my TSX, especially with its reliable K24 engine. Despite the older exterior and interior design, I found the ILX to be a far superior car to the Integra overall.

Based on all you’ve said, I disagree; no, we don’t NEED a MazdaSpeed 3. You WANT one, but no, we don’t need one. I’m on my fourth Miata now, but ready for something a bit larger that’s a decent long distance cruiser. Something I can drive on the interstate all day without gettin’ tired, and it looks like that’s precisely what this is. No big ass touchscreen plastered across the dash and no distracting touchscreen; you get a super convenient Controller Knob instead. I love that. And this weighs only around 3,100 lbs, far less than the turbo and AWD models! If you never heard, lighter = better, you can look it up. (And for the record, Mazda’s clever torsion bar rear has fared quite well with knowledgeable, hard core, canyon-carving YT testers.) I’m a single guy who frequently has one passenger; once or twice a year maybe a third passenger (maybe), so this car sounds perfect for me. I’m gonna get me one. 😊

Bought one in soul red. Not crazy about black rims or a sunroof. Love the way it drives. Of course if it were up to me I'd have manual windows, manual key fob, manual transmission and an actual hand break but I can't complain too much.
I noticed my car lurches when I switch to gear 2. Not sure if it’s bc I’m doing too much rpm or not enough rpm. When is the best time to switch to gear 2
@@kevhaha2005 it truly depends on the driving conditions and what you’re trying to achieve. But honestly it’s not really your fault as this car is known for having what’s called rev hang. The revs don’t drop as quickly as other cars so when you let the clutch out you may be timing it perfectly for a car without rev hang. But since this one has rev hang, just let the clutch out a half second later than you normally would and you should be fine. I hope that helps bro!

Which do you recommend for driving enjoyment, this one or the cx30 turbo- 250 hp? The cx 30 you can drive it manually even though you don’t have clutch.
@@adriellepretre9047Still gotta give it to this car. If straight line performance/speed is your biggest motivation, go for the CX-30 Turbo. It’s fast as hell and handles extremely well for a small SUV (it’s really a lifted hot hatch to me). But for engagement, this car all day long.
@ I prefer engagement. I don’t race or go over 80 mph. But I like to be in control of the car and have fun while driving specially in twisty roads. But here where i live sometimes you get some flooding (tropical weather) so you have to be careful with this type of car as it is lower to the ground. As a matter of fact I had 3 integras but they were the 1 and 2 generation integras years ago. I liked them.
@ also this 3 should be better on gas economy and a simpler motor compared to the turbo. Fun but simple…
How was going into 2nd from 1st? I have the '24 3 6spd and 2nd gear feels clunky when releasing the clutch after going into 2nd... didnt have this issue with an aspec 6 spd integra
@@EricKim-qt9pl It was perfectly fine. The Integra has automatic rev matching for up and downshifting, making it easier to be smooth. It also has rev hang which this car doesn’t suffer from. Once you get the timing of letting the clutch out right, it’ll be butter smooth. The Mazda could use rev matching but I find it fun to be forced to get it right. They’re both great transmissions but I do prefer the dynamics of the Integra as well.

My 16 civic SI and 2018 Veloster disnt have this issue either.. guess like you said just need to get used to this one. Liked your review, sir! But another thing I just found irritating, though, is how the '25 comes with the front lip, side skirts, and diffuser stock? Adds sporty flare

@@travishita4880 gotta still go with the Integra. The shifter, the clutch, the suspension, and overall driving dynamics are just better. BUT, the interior quality of the Mazda3 is MUCH better. Even still, my vote is for the Integra. Now if they put the 256HP turbo in the Mazda, have it independent rear suspension & a mechanical LSD, I’d get the Mazda.

So here’s the deal UA-cam Family…WE NEED A SPEED3!!! 😩 This car is perfectly fine for everyday use and for most, it’s powerful enough. BUT..if this car were offered with AWD, a true Limited Slip Differential, a 6 speed manual, a fully independent rear suspension, and a Turbo, it would be a monster. Even if it were FWD with a mechanical LSD, it’d still be a monster. Then the Civic Type-R and Integra Type-S would really have some competition! With AWD now we’re talking a GR Corolla competitor. Just slap the damn turbo on it and untie the shoestrings in the rear suspension and call it a Speed3. I think it would sell very well. What do you guys think? Would you consider putting a Speed3 in your driveway? #mazda #Speed #turbo #awd
