Marrs July-ish Sprints at Watkins Glen With NEDiv and WDCR SCCA.
This is the Sunday feature race, Group 7, which includes ITB ITA IT7 BIT SSM.
This weekend was my first time at Watkins Glen and my second race in my new-to-me Vw Golf. The battle with the Volvo was for 2nd place in ITB. There's plenty of errors and mistakes made and tons of time left on the table. Some of the turns are fairly daunting on the blue monster. It's quite a beautiful facility.

My ITB Mk2 Vw Golf in Group 7 of the Washington D.C Region SCCA Marrs Race. Placed 3rd after an awesome multi lap battle.
Personal Best in ITB at Summit Point

A little late upload, but this is from a basically stock engine ITB mk2 Vw with a 1.8 8v and a 3.67 final drive. Was good enough for 4th place qualifier that day.
June 11th Marrs Feature Race

Group 4 ITB, ITA, ITS, B-Spec. First two thirds of the race were great, until the car started to overheat. Looking forward to the next one!

Why do you let him get you in the corners? Or are you a team or something? Because it appears to me that you've got the power advantage & you shift better.
My first time ever on that particular track and only second race in that car. So many errors were made in the process of learning.
That's was an awesome battle! We need to get down there and check it out!
