Amazing walkthrough, thank you man. I've been on the V3 since it launched in China (has Chinese, sold it and got global), coming from the Samsung Fold 4. Meh update to be honest. The OS still needs a lot of work to reach Samsung's level. I created a subreddit to collect all requests sorted by upvotes to improve the OS here: /r/Honor_Requests. Sent to to Honor multiple times but no response yet. It sucks that their Chinese customers are their number 1 priority compared to us Global users. (explains all the work on creating their own versions of Google's AI features which us as Global version users don't care about) Speaking only from a non-chinese user prespective: these Honor AI features barely help me since I can use the Google ones which are better. For example we've already had face to face translation since years with Google Translate, why do I need a built in one?! Meanwhile images and video processing is very shoddy (see post on the subreddit), the camera app is not very intuitive, the volume is very low on my Galaxy Buds 3 and I have to do a workaround to fix it, when I unfold in the reddit app it's bugged and I have to float the app then expand it to fix this, there's no dual Bluetooth audio, the customizations are limited compared to Good Lock. The animations aren't polished (recents stutters when you swipe around). So many other lacking features there on the subreddit. The hardware and form factor is great compared to Samsung, that's why I got the V3 and I'm mostly happy with it, but I think the Fold 7 will catch up enough in this area that the better software, customization options, and stability will be a huge leg up for Samsung (especially with One UI 7+). Let's see what comes next year but I'm most likely going back to Samsung if they keep falling behind Samsung in the software side like this.

You have to switch to Dual Screen Layout for the Global Taskbar to work. Just the same in V3.

Nice review. Regarding the global task bar, it works while opening an application, because when you open an application, this bar will disappear, so you can drag it up and then you can drag the icon to do multitasking

It is no longer supported so it's not that good it might get android 15 aka oxygen os 15 but that's it you need the 11 and up also the snapdragon 888 isn't fully good for harder stuff
