That happens when they roll backwards which causes them to take the second hit also allowing you to combo with boulder. I was also curious about this when first playing the build so I did some tests on a friend.

@@Redmamba8 question for you actually! I’ve got a vagabond starting class, which makes this stat spread hard to hit. I am wondering if you think this build could work without an arcane investment and foregoing the bloodflame talon? I imagine it won’t be as strong without significantly more faith (more than the 50 in arcane) since dragon communion scales so well with arcane.

The starting class I used is vegabond as well at Rl200. I’m currently in the process of making a str/faith version of this build at Rl139 so stay tuned for my next video!

@@johnwill9296 I don't personally consider hard-swapping "a build." I acknowledge that swapping like that is skillful but I agree it's boring. that's just not what I was talking about in the comment.

Yes pretty easy. It doesn’t take a pro gamer to eat flesh and aromatic. Takes no more than 3 seconds so I would say that’s pretty easy. Those buffs aren’t even necessary for the one shot potential, just extra on top. Invasions average about 90 seconds so having those buffs active for half the invasion time is more than enough.

Most invasions showcased in the video were about 30-45 seconds, so yeah you can say pretty easily. Don’t see what the confusion is here?

Ah yes, the build that relies entirely on deflecting and guard countering is OP. The build with literally no ranged attacks whatsoever to fight back against spell spam from entire gank squads and have all of its kill potential in one very easily fuckable deflect/guard counter combo that can be easily blendable... This is the OP build you're talking about?

FromSoft is the reason why pvp is impossible to enjoy in elden ring, not people experimenting with the game & making builds josiah

Anything is fair game against people steam-rolling through the game with their gank buddies. They can handle a few deaths from invaders per play-through.
