Why Did God Condemn Jehu? Was Jehu condemned for carrying out the command God gave him? Troy Lacey and Tim Chaffey explain this alleged contradiction. It is Hosea 1:4, where God condemns Jehu for the bloodshed at Jezreel. In 2nd Kings 9, it says that God told Jehu to “strike down the house of Ahab your master, that I may avenge the blood of My servants the prophets…” (NKJV chapter 9 verse 7). So “why did God condemn Jehu for following through on His command?” It seems contradictory. The verse in Hosea seems to indicate that Jehu’s “bloodthirsty” attitude was the defining factor in receiving God’s condemnation. In carrying out judgment on Ahab, God commissioned Jehu to destroy Ahab, the king of Israel, and his family. You shall strike down the house of Ahab your master, that I may avenge the blood of My servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the Lord, at the hand of Jezebel. For the whole house of Ahab shall perish; and I will cut off from Ahab all the males in Israel, both bond and free. (2 Kings 9:7-8) So if God commanded Jehu to wipe out the house of Ahab, why did Hosea prophesy that God “will avenge the bloodshed of Jezreel on the house of Jehu”? 2 Kings 9-10 explain Jehu’s zeal in eliminating Ahab and his line, including the notoriously wicked Queen Jezebel, Ahab’s wife (2 Kings 9:33). He even went so far as to kill King Ahaziah of Judah (2 Kings 9:27). However, when he came to Jezreel, Jehu exceeded his mandate by killing “all who remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men and his close acquaintances and his priests, until he left him none remaining” (2 Kings 10:11). Although God did commend Jehu for wiping out Ahab and his line (2 Kings 10:30), Jehu was never praised for his excess. In fact, Hosea 1:4 seems to indicate God was upset with Jehu’s bloodthirstiness. Jehu also slaughtered a large gathering of Baal worshipers and essentially “destroyed Baal from Israel” (2 Kings 10:28). God never commanded Jehu to do this, even though the Lord despised the worship of Baal. Jehu was never commended for this action either. Although Jehu fulfilled God’s command to exterminate the house of Ahab, he didn’t have the right motives for doing so. However Jehu did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who had made Israel sin, that is, from the golden calves that were at Bethel and Dan. And the Lord said to Jehu, “Because you have done well in doing what is right in My sight, and have done to the house of Ahab all that was in My heart, your sons shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.” But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the Lord God of Israel with all his heart; for he did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam, who had made Israel sin. (2 Kings 10:29-31) There are many people who think they are serving the Lord and they work with great zeal in trying to accomplish God’s work. Saul, later known as the Apostle Paul, was the same way before his conversion (Philippians 3:4-6). However, in the case of both of these men, their hearts were not right before the Lord. Even though Jehu was zealous to end the worship of Baal in Israel, he allowed idolatry to continue in Bethel and Dan. Saul was so zealous in trying to accomplish God’s work that he persecuted Christians. Trump will exceed the Lord's will and lead the nation to destruction through his (Trump's) traitorous relationship with Putin, before whom Trump will lay the nation's defenses bare having turned over the secrets stolen at the end of his first term to Putin. As it says in Revelation "though her defenses reached to the heavens, not an arrow will miss their target".

You told of pouring water onto the altar at the end of Sukkot and praying for rain was an amazing revelation. 1. Pouring water on wood ashes concentrates Lye. 2. Animal fat dripping mixed with lye makes soap. The massive amount of soap that was produced from sacrificial worship would ran down the rivers to the Mediterranean Sea. 3. 80 miles west of Haifa is the Leviathan Basin 1500 ft. deep is a major natural oil sheep which has likely producing a very thin oil film on the water surface of the eastern Mediterranean Sea since the time of Moses, and slowing evaporation. Like the Dawn soap commercials say, it takes grease and oil of your way” and the label says it is “Good for wild life”. So pouring water on the altar, would actually remove that film and bring rain. 4. Just as God gave us knowledge to have air conditioning, I believe God gave me “a way in the wilderness” the knowledge to bring rain to Israel. There will be scoffers. Hosea 6:1-3 1 Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the DAWN; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain upon the earth. Isaiah 43 18-19 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Yes, we shall know it and it is “prepared as the dawn”. Since there is currently no sacrificial worship “things of the old”, “the new thing” is to pour Dawn soap into the rivers and sea and bring back the land of milk and honey. Just imagine how the blessing of rivers in the desert and restoration of the dead sea would bring massive revival, even to the enemies of Israel. So many people speak of revival, but where is it told in scripture? We are told there will be a great falling away and that only a remnant will remain, but I can find nothing about revival. Surely, if it were going to happen, the Lord would have mentioned it? My take, and I'm nobody, but I am seeing a world wide christianity that follows pagan traditions and refuses to obey Yeshua's commands. If there is a 'revival', it won't be unbelievers turning to YHVH, it will be believers waking up to the truth of Torah.

the bible seems to say that israel fights to get back the temple after it is temporarily defiled because it is said in revelation 11:2But exclude the courtyard outside the temple. ' That is 3 and one half years of the first or last half of Trib? one of them. there is a hint at it being the latter half because it says half the city of jerusalem is taken,plus Jesus said those in judea and jerusalem should escape when the abomination in the middle part begins. echariah 14:2 showing half the city being taken would go along with the revelation 11:2 saying the outer court is taken by gentiles but not the temple which could be the start of where half of the city is not in gentile control.
