But now, the transmitter of DYKC is in Lapu-lapu City and its studio is in the San Miguel Corporation warehouse compound in Tipolo, Mandaue City when its former home, the old RPN Cebu compound in Maguikay is closed down after almost five decades except the TV tower inside the old compound remained operational. Most of RPN's Provincial AM and TV stations' operations and maintenance at present, are under the supervision of Engr. Joar Malnegro. I heard this old DYKC station notice in Cebu never heard before, in 1988, under the network's Leader Radyo for Provincial AM stations when at the time, the studio was inside the compound in Maguikay and the transmitter in Opao, later moved to Umapad in that city when it was established in 1969.

Chư Mố commune, Ia Pa district is more possible to reach. Bàu Cạn commune is from Chư Prông district, this district located to the west. F2 propagation isn't enough strong to reach this station. Also, Chư Prông radio station relays VOV1, not Gia Lai FM.

Geographically, this station may came from Hà Tam commune, Đăk Pơ district. Đăk Pơ district located to the east of Gia Lai province. Đức Cơ district lies to the west - which is highly impossible to reach.

Because when I've first listen to Nam Đông district radio station, I've noticed that most of broadcasting time it relays VOV1 only. The main program only broadcasts on every Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
